I've definitely seen a noticeable increase in things banning crypto simply because the number of scam projects. As a guy who works for an exchange I can't tell you how many terrible and clever scams I've seen apply, there are far more out there than in the public eye.

I prefer to use the word risky rather than dangerous considering anything can happen in crypto. Prices are highly volatile which is affected by several factors and you can loose your investment especially if you don't know how to deal during bear seasons.

Yes, I agree with you that crypto is risky and not dangerous because it is volatile and unpredictable but if you know how to make very good decision and know when to buy and sell, then you will make reasonable profit but if you are not very good with decision making and picking good coin and projects to invest in, you mat loose all you have in it to a single mistake.

Countries prohibit crypto currency due to the lack of regulations for its regulation. I am sure that once the crypto market is recognized as legal and allowed to use crypto currency in payments, most of the state will approve its use at the state level.

My opinion the only thing that makes cryptocurrencies dangerous for you is your lack of knowledge and education,  so in that case you would lose your money and that's the only danger.
