Staking for old Pac can be done simply running your wallet for 720h at least. For new $Pac you need a masternode (500k $Pac).

The 30 days Coin-age is the minimal requirement for the POS to work.

Before that, you simply need to leave those PACs in the old wallet clients (without being spent) to accumulate the coin-age. Certainly, you should at least run the old wallet client at times to get the wallet sync'd but POS staking won't start until the time some of the PAC balances have the coin-age of 30 days or so.

After 30 days, you can keep your old PAC wallet client running for POS which is about 7-9% per month or 100% per year.

It is unclear how long it take for you to get the POS of this % of minting rewards you are entitled to. I bet that one week may or may not be enough and 2 weeks are probably better. Let's say that, at the end of 15 days of POS, most of the coins with coin-age starting with 30 days at the beginning would have their coin-age "spent" and the corresponding coin-age would have been reset and started with a new count. There might be a very small amount of PACs still not having their coin-age spent through minting rewards during those days (31-45th), and these would have a coin-age of 46 days. Whatever PAC's coin-age spent during the last 15 days, would now have the coin-age of 1-15 days. It is a dynamic process and never ending.

In short, you can always keep the old PAC wallet running for POS minting to get those 7-9% per month of POS rewards until right before the next 1:2000 swap ratio kicks in in June 2018. And you would have up to 4 months worth of POS rewards, close to 30% or more, (remembering that you always start with one month of coin-age already.)

So what should noobs do at this point.  If I bought pac today on Cryptopia, would it be the old pac or the new pac.  Is it ok to hold in the cryptopia wallet or should i move it to the pacwallet on paccoin.net? Will Cryptopia transfer the old pac to new pac? If it's the old useless pac, then when can noobs buy the new pac? So confused.....damn u bill corliss

You can't do sh#t on Cryptopia, the wallet is gonna be locked until the forking ends I guess. They'll be swapped by cryptopia exchange automatically. YoBit and Satoshi you gotta withdraw it into your wallet before june. Simple as that.

Is it the first, second or the third wallet ? I've download the first one and it want an access to go through the firewall. Some of the PAC features is block perhaps virus?

Wait patiently for the developer's announcement, obviously we can't do anything, and I want to know what happened.

I see something weird, maybe someone is willing to check this.
Whenever I receive a stake in my wallet that is "not accepted" these staked coins don't end up in my wallet which seems logical.

However when I check my wallet address on the blockchain itself, the blockexplorer shows these coins as accepted.  For example:

my wallet now shows 10 million coins
the blockexplorer shows like 12 million coins

This leads me to believe this is also the case with other people/wallets.. And that could signal false circulating supply of Paccoin. Maybe there are far less coins out there than Coinmarketcap reports if the blockchain is not showing the right numbers.

Yes fully synced. I even did a fresh install. The wallet balance on the blockchain is way more than I actually own. So the blockchain data is wrong

This is a screen from the Paccoin block explorer, all these stake rewards are all false, they are not in the wallet because they did not get accepted. But the blockchain counts then anyway so now my balance showing on the blockexplorer is like 40% more than what I actually have.

Thank you for posting it i skip that march 1 in the images. Anyway atleast we have a good process and an early announcement in public so we can see what will going on this coming months and finally hoping for a better trading of Paccoin after swapping.

A Member of the discord for Paccoin Flew to New Zealand to see the Cryptopia Directors and Manager.
he had a successful meeting where it was agreed that Cryptopia would do a swop of coins to each member new account or 1000 coins to 1 being deposited.
there were a lot more discussions including the  Doge and Litcoin and when will they activate them,

The reasons they gave, was their servers could not handle the amounts that were thrown at them from the paccoin and other communities. it kept crashing the servers, so they have decided to split up the servers to keep the lite coin and doge separated from other coins.
to do that they are building a new system to handle that, which will take time.
They did not give a date.
 
The new $Pac Master Nodes are now up for grabs at a cost of 500.000 Paccoin each  so if you want them you need to download the Redemption wallet and the new $Pac wallet and when you are transferring these coins to the redemption wallet make sure you send in lots of 500,000..... 1,000,000..... 1,500,000 if you send 590,000 you will lose that 90,000 if you send them.
but most of all send your new $PAC wallet numbers/ID with the redemption wallet

There are good and bad in all of us, I ask you to watch out for the bad, but these two people I trust for Master Nodes one I know personally.
