You should read this regarding staking.

The key sentence is:
Quote
Older and larger sets of coins have a greater probability of signing the next block.

Therefore, if someone has more coins, he has a higher probability to earn stake reward.

What will happen to the PAC in Cryptopia? They will not let us withdraw our coins.
Cryptopia will exchange old for new $PAC coins.

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help.

last transaction on my PAC (old) wallet was made 745 hours ago. My wallet is unlocked and online. I have not received the 7-9 % MINT on my wallet. On the Homepage its says i should receive them after 720h.

Am i missing something?

I am in the same boat. I have had my PAC in wallet since 1/7/2018 and I have received nothing as well. I have left my computer on and the wallet open since then.

Most likely it takes more time when your wallet balances are staking against the other, un-redeemed trillions of PAC, the total of which will drop drastically once the redemption goes more than the half way; therefore, it might take around 2 weeks to be sure that you are given the corresponding 7-9% per month minting rewards you are entitled to, (for the coinage of 35 days, at this moment, or more by the time of minting rewards.)  Cheesy Cheesy

Not sure what happen, I did I click my old wallet to open and all of a sudden my wallet is gone, have more than 70M Paccoins on it,anu advise? Can I retrieve my coins if I download the new wallet and use my passphrase?

You have to find the wallet.dat file, usually (for windows)
in the folder   C:\...\users\JohnDoe\AppData\Roaming\paccoin\wallet.dat

Make a copy of the wallet.dat and save it elsewhere, best not in the same computer.

You can run a new wallet client and in the \paccoin folder, substitute it with your own wallet.dat to get your balance back.
Without the wallet.dat file, you are out of luck.
 Wink Wink

Thanks got it back and on redemption wallet bur encounter another problem tried to send my Old Pac to new Pac Core wallet and followed all the procedure when trying to send all my coins nothing happens, do I need to press Send on Send Coins Tab twice or do i need to enter the whole amount of old Pac Coins i.e. 1000 not 1000.20316?

Followed Instructions from here : http://download.paccoin.net/Paccoin_Redemption_Instructions.pdf

You just have to wait till Cryptopia PAC wallets get restored and they will most likely do it themselves..

No. You may download the redemption wallet now. Backup your wallet.dat and install the redemption wallet. You should wait for the signal to transfer coins from the redemption wallet to the new $PAC wallet. It is all in this topic. Just read.

I am sorry but I am not English speaker so sometimes I don’t understand everything. I read the old post but I also read that we have to sent our coins bows so I wanted to know the truth.
Thanks a lot 👍

If I buy Pac today, do I already buy the new currency $ Pac, in proportion 1000 to 1 ?,

or do I have to go to the  redemption 1000 to 1 ?

Thank Yoy so much

You can't buy pac anymore. The only 2 exchange sell pac already freeze all trading.

It's still trading at YoBit atm.
