Bitcoin will still lead for few years later, although eth necessary right now with the clever contract that's still can't make it pass over eth, behind that eth will chased by neo with the same function.

like many people think, bitcoin will continue to lead this year even the following years. currently ethereum is in a very bad condition, it will not be possible to beat bitcoin.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?
In cryptocurrency market usage, ETH has reached Bitcoin level, but from a global perspective, Bitcoin still exceeds ETH. |

BTC or ETH- I will say noone. Since the beginning of the year till now ETH has dropped HUGE. As for BTC it hast made any huge through outs. All the crypto is still going down. So I wouldnt say that any of those coins won the race this year. |

Now BTC is in the lead with a huge advantage, and for the last time in ETH everything is very bad, so it seems to me that the winner of this year is BTC. This is my opinion and it may not be true.

All the same btc I think above and is happy with a lot, but I think that's the way it should be. |

BTC was, is and will be the market leader always. I admit that ethereum is a good one, in some case, better than BTC. But, you also have to admit that BTC is widely accepted than any other crypto in the market. In future, we may see changes in crypto and replacement but of course, it will be a privacy crypto. |

Yes, Bitcoin is a market leader mainly because It is the first cryptocurrency in the world, and it has a lot of disadvantages. However, I think that Bitcoin will retain its leading position in the cryptocurrency market in the next few years at least.

If SEC decision on ETF will be positive BTC could go to the moon.
