Bitcoin leads other cryptocurrencies too much. I think it is impossible to surpass Bitcoin this year. So I think the winner this year is still Bitcoin, but I believe Ethereum will have better development in the future.

I think bitcoin will still rule and stay at the top rank in crypto currency market, bitcoin is hard to beat and they are have a lot of investors and holders. Will need a very hard work to reach bitcoin.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?
In my opinion, I think bitcoin will remain the best and leader of other crypto irrespective of the flaws it has. Although ethereum is also very good and has unique qualities/fuctions, It will remain the best altcoin while bitcoin will remain the best cryptocurrency. |

Sorry to say but Bitcoin will always be the winner and will dominate the market. The fact that it is the first cryptocurrency, it is hard to ignore that without Bitcoin all altcoin will not exist no matter how advance their technology or their features. |

bitcoin never loses because we know that we are superior to all so we should not compare bitcoin and ETH dHil without defeating bitcoin. |

Bitcoin always king of the crypto currency. its a obvious thing. its the first crypto in the world. 21Mn limited supply is there. i am pretty sure that ETH is the queen of the crypto and main alt in the alt coin industry.

bitcoin will always be on top and ethereum will be the next. bitcoin is the mother of all coin and people love to invest in this coin because they always get a big profit when price pumps so fast. ethereum also a good coin to invest but it is very unpredictable thats why investors think very smart on where they invest all of their money.

There is no guarantee that this situation will last forever. Both these coins are having a lot of deficiencies and newer and more advanced coins are getting created everyday. It is just a matter of time before some coin or token overtakes these established currencies. |

These coins have completely different tasks and functions. They have enough space in this world for both. They simply will coexist peacefully with each other. There will be a rise in the price of bitcoin, it is because of this rising and ethereum.

I think that there will be no winner between BTC and ETH, the most likely is that both sides will win! Simply because the BTC has taken the lead very far and in the near future BTC is hardly overthrown. But ETH has also grown and shown its potential. So this year, both BTC and ETH can grow beyond the old ladder. BTC has been leading so no concept of winning with it, ETH followed but its value is so much increase so it does not fail. So, both sides won. Right!?  |

Bitcoin will always be an unique among all the cryptocurrency whether it be ETH or NEO or Litecoin. Because of it's unique features Bitcoin transactions happened in billions everyday. If, Bitcoin tumble then all other coin also go down because of a market index like behaviour of Bitcoin.
