Is there any chance for the Pill reduce even more the cards lifespan?
the real question FFS here we go again! perpetuating the MYTH that electronics wear out like some machine! The only thing that is likely to suffer are fans because they are mechanical. Until you can explain at the material level what changes with age, be quiet. 24/7 operation is not a reason. Running at 100% is not a reason (unless you're an idiot you will be under clocking and volting to reduce power) heat cycling is not a reason( for one thing mining gpu aren't cycling, they run at steady temps) So enough with the irrational paranoia, and anyway you will be upgrading before any gpu's run long enough to wear out Baz Im lay, im just asking I run < 60º and only 58% power with my 1080s with the Pill, but the program could me changing some critical feature IMO you can't say absolute nothing about this I could be running at 10% power usage, at 10C, this does not mean that an software cannot damage the card, why not? There is no software that can damage the hardware it runs on. You can crash the software, or the o/s, but no physical damage. Like when you stall the engine in a car, you have stopped the mechanical process, but nothing physical is broken. You can restart and drive on. No damage caused. So if you dont have the skills to explain in detail how damage can be done, you dont have the right to state it can. You just have FUD, and FUD isnt good enough. Baz

Debian/Ubuntu with 4.15 kernels, 390.48 drivers and cuda 9.1. This isn't working on all 1080ti vendors, did testing on some rigs and can report not to work: Asus Turbo, PNY XLR8. So this tool is rather limited for large mixed rigs, but thanks anyway. Otherwise, with "right" cards it works on any baremetal mining platform, up to 11*1080ti/rig, largest i've got here. It does NOT work on paravirtualized systems on KVM and VT-d pci-e passthrough with mining guests, but these setups are very rare among conventional miners. Tried paravilrtualized Windoze also with same result. Any chance of getting it to work with everything 1080ti? As I stated, you MUST provide me with the VBIOS, so I can see wtf model you have. I can't just go off stuff like 'This is a 1080Ti it doesn't work!' Because for all I know, you are mining on a toaster and you just think it's a 1080Ti because there's a postit with jam stains and a wonky NVIDIA logo drawn in crayon. VBIOS; and please create an issue on GitHub so it's better sorted, if possible.

In your interview on youtube a couple days ago you mentioned a paid version of this tool for older GeForceGPUs. If you can make Kepler cards able to sh7t coins you might need to change your username to OhGodAGod. Maxwell would be cool too.

The caps will eventually fail, and they will fail faster at higher temps. I doubt that this ETHlargement will have any significant impact though. This is a good watch: Ask GN 67: Does Mining Hurt GPUs? https://youtu.be/3WWfj7RF_z8?t=6m21sBiggest win for sustained loads: run hardware below power limit spec. Less stress on components than their design ratings = much longer lifespan. If you're really concerned about components find someone who knows their shit and get them to vet the card design. Or someone might have already done it e.g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoLWVvHasaw

Good you will be covering this cause there are deflecting conclusions if this modification actually delivers on the shares reported as compared to a non enlarged card. I would actually be interested in a paid version because I fall into this category of older GeForce cards at my disposal.

Still only a "plus" of about 3-4MH, with --revA option. I have EVGA 1080 FTW DT GPUs. BIOS 86.04.3B.00.86. Device ID 10DE 1B80-3842 6284. Memory GDDR5x Micron.

Love your work ... when a pill for another Nvidia card (especially for GTX 1070) will be release ?

ETHLargement - The Hashrate HardernerAt OhGodACompany, we believe the Ethereum network should be enjoyed by all graphic cards, no matter the make or model. That's why ETHlargement was created - so you could get back to what's important: shitposting. Dear developer, I assume the pill just killed my 1080ti card Please follow the story and feel free to adjust anything if you see other relations: - 8*1080ti (z270p MB), 1 year no issues mining ZEC (Win/HiveOS) - hiveOS build 48 — manually launched the pill, miners used: ethminer/claymore. Both resulted in ~42-45MH/s. Far from expected 50+, so switched back to ZEC (dtsm) - hiveOS crashed with unusual screen output: no info from all 8 cards (not temperature, nor fan speed) + high constant CPU load (15-18%, while usually 2-3%), pool (flypool) receives 30-40sol/s in total - default setting/rebooting/risers/power supply — no results - checked on Win with ewbf — crashed on start-up - digged in looking for specific card(s) that lead to this situation - found EVGA 11G-P4-6591-KR (iCX) — this one became not stable - with this card (only 1 card) Windows starts, but dtsm shows illegal memory access was encountered error, ewbf — thread exited with code 30Summary: after memory-related tool 1 card is dead with memory-related errors. Any hints of what can be done manually to fix what was done with the pill? Browsing these errors found an article with "The error occurs when attempting to generate the DAG file"/ "assuming the memory blocks are not cleared down after a device is powered off" — does it help to define route cause? https://preview.ibb.co/c1riW7/Screen_Shot_2018_05_01_at_14_29_07.png

Stop assuming ETHlargement caused the fault and diagnose the problem like an adult.

Baz, this is * useful advice!
Riser checked, cables replaced, OS re-installed. Just read what I've already done and contribute if you can.
