I've got a Gainward GTX 1080 Phoenix, +1000 mem PL 60% and hashing at 37-38 MH/s on ethereum. Without the pill it only pulls 26 MH/s. The trick is to start the miner and set your overclock and after its running start the pill treatment in compatibility mode (win 8.). I've maxed out the memory overclock so can't push it further. But if I change the overclock in MSI Afterburner while it's running it crashes. It's been stable now for 24h almost. But 38MH/s@130 W is pretty damn good. Better than a RX580 for sure. ATM i have the GTX 1080 and a RX580 pulling 270W from the wall and RX580's almost always pull atleast 130W for the card itself.

I've got 5 EVGA 1080 SC's and it just won't work.
If I do the above, even if I apply a small o/c (and apply the pill in RevA) Claymore will show a bunch of red lines and crash. It's just pointless.

I had to start the pill with the troubleshooting option the first time for it to work. And I think what that does is put it in Windows 8 compatibility mode. How far can you push the memory overclock without the pill?

And I don't use rev A, it just gives 1-2 MH/s extra so try with the compatibility settings and ignore Rev A.

I am trying to make this work but looks like I'm an idiot.

I have two Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti.
On stock clocks without ETHlargement I get around 70 Mh/s with Claymore 11.7 on Windows 10.

(EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal myaddress -eworker adzi1  -epsw x)

When I change clock settings to 70% Power Limit, Core +0 and Memory +650 I get 36-40 Mh/s with ETHlargement running.
How long do I need to leave it running to get around 100 Mh/s? Does it show after 3-5 hours?

This thing work instantaneously. Open it as admin and just keep running in the background. Nothing more. You will see 50MH/s within few seconds...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Win 10, latest build
Latest drivers 397.64 - Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti Gaming OC
Stock clocks, Claymore 11.6 or 11.7 I am getting around 70 Mh/s, when I run ETHlargement nothing happens.
If I try to change the clocks my hashrate decreases a lot.

I will. Does anyone know why is there no checkmark on CUDA for GPU1, but there is for GPU0 on GPU-Z?

I picked up a 1080ti (zotac amp extreme monstrosity) out of curiosity, just to test this.  I get up close to 55 mhs if I let the PL go up to 75%.  Most efficient setting is 50% PL, 42 mhs for 150W.  That's about as efficient as your average modded polaris.  Pretty solid given the versatility of this gpu for other algos.

Why is it only available for 1080 1080ti without the for 1060 and 1070?

Because 1080's and 1080Ti's use GDDR5X as opposed to GDDR5 for the two models you mentioned. Different memory type, different timings. Capish?

nice work,
have you plan to do that for 1070's ?  is it possible ?

upps i found my answer, thnx eliovp

OhGodAGod is sadly already taken. But I'm just a girl, nothing more.
Love your work ... when a pill for another Nvidia card (especially for GTX 1070) will be release ?

Doubt that one will ever be released.

The GTX 1070 doesn't have G5X memory and thus the injection doesn't work. Neither will it on any other non G5X card.

The mining cards P104/102 already have this mod (FAW/RRD) so this tool only applies to the non mining G5X cards, which are 3 types..?

What it does is, it accesses the memory block and injects those 2 changes.

I've done this mod on the P104 when we first recieved the prototype months ago.
It jumped from stock 28Mh to 36Mh with just those 2 changes.

It's a nice little trick yes Smiley

Hi
I have tons of GTX1080 (various brand) and GTX1080ti

all GTX1080ti works with this mod

however lot GTX1080 cannot apply this mod, PC will crash upon starting the mod, not even started claymore miner yet

All crash PC having 6pc of GTX1080 with latest driver 391.35 and using claymore 11.6 (same configuration with non crash PC)
Applying revA didnt help also

Any help much appreciated.

Thank you

I rather suspect you are going to have to provide more details if you want help. At the very least, what brands are the cards, what overclocks/power limits are applied and how are they applied (e.g. - AfterBurner)?

Dear Sir

Brand is not working - MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X (6 GPU)
Using MSI AB :
core clock -100
PL 70%
memory  0 (or any overclocking setting , even +50)

Upon further review , it produce artefacts immdietely upon opening the program then the rig crash

Other brand will be investigated later one by one (because I have multiple brand)

However GTX 1080 Zotac AMP! and AMP! Extreme working perfectly

Thank you for the good works!

I also have this card, and I had a lot of trouble running the program.

what i did: msi AB powerlimit 70 core clock -100 mem 0

I start claymore I wait for the dag to be loaded, then I start the program with this command:

OhGodAnETHlargementPill --revA 0,1,2,3

and I have 30mh

I managed to put +100 memory which gives me 31 mh.

but impossible to oc memory a + of 100. I do not understand why .....

go to the moon !!

Don't do the rev A

Open miner... Let it run awhile till it shows 26mhz.... Then open the eth enlargement

and it's auto bump to 38+-
