So badly wanna see what the version for hbm memory on vega's can do. But I guess I never will because of these whinny bitches that got the free version for Gddr5x.
Who is whining? Everybody is happy about this amazing gift. there are some feedbacks and problem reports which is essential in enhancing the software. I think you are the only one who is bitching here.

Hello I got segfault almost all the time with driver crashes, some times, when i don't get segfault, it works perfectly for a long time, it always segfault at the beginning, not during mining.
Linux 14.04 LTS (64) 8GB RAM, 6x 1080 Strix from flash drive Run enlargement pill with & and then the miner. claymore 11.7
any ideas what could cause it? the strange thing is that, sometimes i manage to make it work and it never crashes until the next reboot.
I only have segfault if i run the enlargement pill and then claymore , if i run claymore alone works fine, and other miners also works ok.
i am not overclocking or anything, just set fan speeds. thanks indkt. [EDIT] It seems to work fine with claymore 9.8, will try other versions and post, i would like to hear from someone else with the same problem (1080 only, 1080Ti is a completely different beast)

The 1080ti is one of the last great cards without publicly available bios mods. Some sort of devfee based 1080ti general enhancement package which would include bios mods from OhGodAGirl et al. should be welcomed. Going forward for miners there are a some tough issues: 1) GPU vs ASIC vs FPGA 2) Open source vs closed. You are not going to get people's best efforts or the best talent if software mods are open source. 3) I have yet to see any kind of cloud mining make money for the customer. If you need the superhuman GPU software skills of OhGodACompany to produce uber 1080ti's to make GPU cloud mining profitable, then I think your biz model is flawed. I certainly hope that OGAC makes their uber GPU tech available to everyone for some sort of devfee.

Hope to see that. OhGodaPill was for me, on mining bases, the best software released for months. Hope to see more coming.

Anyone else has an ASUS 1080Ti Turbo which doesn't respond to the pill even when using --revA? I'm getting 37 MH/s on it with or without the pill. My other 1080Ti's (MSI and Gigabyte) respond well to the pill. # cat /proc/driver/nvidia/gpus/0000\:06\:00.0/information Model: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti IRQ: 135 GPU UUID: GPU-3058f196-7b94-8331-3e70-2f758dfefa18 Video BIOS: 86.02.39.00.22 Bus Type: PCIe DMA Size: 47 bits DMA Mask: 0x7fffffffffff Bus Location: 0000:06:00.0 Device Minor: 3

Having problems here .....5x8x1080TIs (EVGA SC2), five identical rigs on Windows 10. (65,-100,650) They run great for 7-10 hours at 50MHz +/- and then the rigs disconnect from ethermine and cannot reconnect until everything is shut down and restarted. Has anyone else run into this? Using ethminer-0.15.0.dev4.
Currently lowering clocks to no avail as of yet. It's driving me nuts.

Use 391.35 driver with Bminer. best driver and miner for me. 397 and newer drivers were unstable for me, my problem solved after I rolled back to 391.35.

+18% (from 880 to 1030 h/s) in Cryptonight with EVGA 1080ti FTW3. I'm using the XMR-Stak miner from fireice-uk, not sure if I'm doing well miner-wise! I'm not mining Cryptonight that much and I haven't try other miners, I only mine this algo when I find an opportunity with a drop in diff since I'm a long term holder.

I gave Claymore Miner a go and it seems to be working out a bit better ..... so far. If I get some more crashes in 10 or so hours I'll give the 391 drivers a shot and maybe Bminer. Regardless, thanks for the input. EDIT: The newest Claymore miner and 397 Nvidia drivers was the ticket for my rigs. Going on a couple days with no down time. Gonna work on over/under clocks to see if I can get a bit more out of the GPUs. I would like to take this opportunity to thank "Oh God a Company/Girl" for this exceptional level mining tool. Looking forward to whatever else they bring to the table in the future.

Please anyone feel free to correct me, but as far as i remember, you have to close all your overclock tools first (MSI afterburner, nvidia-smi, etc) then run the pill first and then run your mining software second. After those are both running smoothly, thats when you open your overclock tools and apply settings. The settings won't be the same as your max overclock settings before the pill tho. It will be slightly less so just play around with the values.

I guess it's becuse ETHlargement pill is currently more optimized for 1080ti not 1080.

I am curious if it's safe to leave ETHlargement on while using Nicehash with all the coin switching. Lately I have found it more profitable to put my rigs on Nicehash again. My 8xMSI 1080 Gaming X rig is mostly hashing Lyra2Rev2, but it seems my other rigs (8x1070s, 8x1070tis, and 8x1060s) are mining CryptonightV7 for decent profits occasionally. So basically, is it okay for ETHlargement to be on full-time while mining LyraRev2, Equihash, NeoScrypt etc. on NiceHash waiting for ETH and CryptonightV7 spikes?

Need to buy new hardware?
Mmmmm... No Thanks. It was not what i was expecting. Thought more for a devfee.
I never said that. I think for beginners the service is well thought. But...as i Said... You can say No...but the true is i need to buy hardware. Once again. Thanks for the ETH pill.

It will be slightly less so just play around with the values. no idea if there is any "corrrect" way... but I get best stability if I apply overclocks (I use Nvidia Inspector), then run mining software, then run the pill. I have 2 x MSI 1080 gamingX and they both seem to be fine with a +400 memory overclock, but one of them sometimes craps itself and I get screen artefacts after it's been mining for a while, but then sometimes it doesn't. I'm using the pill to improve cryptonight-heavy hash-rate for mining Loki on the 1080s. Without the pill they do around 500h/s, with the pill 650-700h/s. I'm also using 1070s and they will do 700h/s with or without the pill (obviously) - so the pill makes my 1080s hash nearly as well as a 1070 at a cryptonight variant. The 1070s all have +700 memory overclock. I have also used all of these cards to mine ETH and it was a similar story - the pill made the 1080s hash around the same as my 1070s. It is one of the coolest free releases I've ever seen and I've been mining since early 2016.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL
I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

actually i havent noticed any difference in stability no matter what order i start them in. just need sane clocks once in on the pill. once you find that and set it via ab or whatever, it just works whatever order the rig fires them up in.

Do we need to force P0 state to get better results. I run the cards at P2 state, 180W, about 50MH/s which is worse than most others.
