I do not think that Russia will adopt bitcoin in the near future. The government of this country is very skeptical about the crypto currency.

Hey guys, what do you think about the last news from Russia? Russian government will legalize crypto! Do you think it will pump market again?

Dont believe any new regarding Russia , there has been 100 news about Rusia baning and unbanning cryptos in last year.
Also it would be rational that they accept crypto since they ar under sanctions because of their despicable actions in Ukraine and Syria

Source of the info? or just rumor?

Surprisingly, Russia is not that tough against crypto world, like it`s retrograde neighbours are.
Cause they are living with EU and US sanctions and need to have reliable alternative..
Pretty logic..

I dont think russia would be accepting as early as this year, because this country is doing a lot of research as they are one of the most powerful country in the world, they need to to take all of these things carefully as their decision could be changing the whole world, but this country will ever accept cryptocurrencies im sure it will attract more investors to join in our market.

bitcoin being illegal in Russia is just a non important detail. They banned it in order to bring regulation to the market inside their borders, they are aiming to launch their own cryptocurrency, which will be their official money and this is certainly good new for cryptocurrency market, a stable and official cryptocurrency that is accepted throughout the worlds biggest country: man that is awesome.

We are very, very far of any crypto currency becoming some country official money.
Russia is happy with the Ruble, because their internal debt is payed with Rubles. The Ruble is cheap, and makes it a lot easier for the government.

Similar news is. But realization is practically impossible. The law is not yet in favor of the participants crypto currency. The government wants money, not regulation of the crypto-currency market. And the news is not likely to be affected on the crypto-currency market positively.
In my point of view, government only wants to make a profit out cryptocurrency. Since mostly more people here in the forum are from Russia, we can learn from their regulation if this would really happen in time. But mostly, there should be a balance on the holders of the currency and the governments tax.

I think that accepting cryptocurrencies in Russia is indeed good news. More countries will try to accept cryptocurrencies. I think the market will develop well.

Good news for Russia, lots of great teams and developers from there.

I don't think this news will influence the market on a global scale, however this is one more indicator that cryptocurrencies are developing more and more trust!

I am sure that the Russian government will legalize crypto with time. They need this step to bypass certain sanctions. And many politicians of the country have investments in crypto.

The Russian government also had questions about the procedure for opening a digital wallet. So, in the bill it is allowed to do this only after passing through direct, rather than remote identification, which creates barriers for foreign investors.

There have been lots of news about Russia banning and then legalizing cryptocurrencies. I don't think anything is fixed right now and they have created some laws just to be there since a lot of people are using cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrencies are just at the beginning of a long road. I am sure governments will change lots of laws until getting anything fixed because right now they don't even know exactly what bitcoin is and how it works.

There is a law (act) being developed to make cryptocurrencies acceptable, so taxes are incoming and so on! For now, cryptocurrencies are not banned, but still they are out of any form of regulation.
I think, the cryptocurrency act will be released by the end of the year, or maybe in autumn. I'll let you know in this theme (or similar), cuz guess what - i'm from Russia  Cheesy

I think that Russia does not adapt crypto in the near future. The economy of this country is very weak and not ready to accept crypto.

They talk about it for a long time, but for now all this is inconclusive, because people simply do not understand how this can affect the economy or something like that for taxes in a phiatic equivalent, but in general there are attempts to legitimize this fact.

In the near future, there will be no legalization of the crypto currency in Russia. But, Vladimir Putin positively says regards bitcoin and even more - about  ethereum.

The only reason for the Russian government to legalize crypto is to hide their money from taxes. At the same time the whole idea of crypto currencies is against the current regime. That's why I think it's just a rumor.

In fact, Russia has long needed a corresponding law on crypto. If they accept it, there will be great news for everyone. Crypto is really a future that simplifies our life.
