Highest price I saw on BTC38 was 1.8 Yuan, I sold most of mine between 1.6 and 1.8. Immediately, on the following day after listing it had already crashed to .3 Yuan each, and now it's sitting there.

well it needs an western exchange i don't want to learn an entire new language to buy some fucking coins.

Yeah same thing that always happens it stays hight for a few hours after it is listed and then smashed down to the ground. The coin only has it's name going for it anyway. Would collect some for this cheap but not going to fuck about with those crap chinese sites you can't make head or tale of.

Use Chrome's translate feature, who the fuck do you think is going to learn Chinese just to exchange coins... I sure as shit won't waste my time.

The coin has virtually nothing going for it, which is why I was so confused at it's absurdly high price. I still think it's over valued by at least 300% but whatever, I've made my money already.

I think the high price lasted like a couple of days, but yeah i'm going to grab a little now. Like to hold a bit of everything.

China has been bitch slapped anyway so i guess their exchanges will vanish in coming months. Applecoin needs to find new exchanges or kiss it's ass goodbye.

New server has at least 4 x times the power.

If your having trouble with accessing the site, use these IP's 209.188.21.78 and 209.188.21.79

DEV - what plans for applecoin now? have you approached some other exchanges, i guess china is going to be very limited from now on?

Anyone know what's up with the Real Name Identification they are doing starting today? Link: http://www.btc38.com/altcoin/general/415.html It's for anti money-laundering, but they could end up shutting out US traders with this. Translated with Chrome:

届时,对于不提供真实实名认证信息的账户,将无法在比特时代平台继续交易。
"December 20 from the start, bit era will require the user to carry out a comprehensive real-name authentication. By then, the real-name authentication information does not provide a true account, will not be able to continue trading in the bit era platform."

Well I just cashed out, so I guess no big deal. It just sounded scary

Are you sure I can use scrypt-jane algorithm on that pool with stratum?  The instructions there don't specifiy that.

I'm successfully mining your pool using the GPU miner.  However, when I try various versions of cpuminer (that support scrypt-jane)  on ubuntu 13.10 it won't connect to stratum.  Like this:

./minerd -a scrypt-jane -o stratum+tcp://stratum.cipherpool.com:8836 -u x -p x

I'll try the windows cpuminer.
