That's why you do a background check first. You should NEVER rely on ads and other promotional agenda. Read their whitepaper, check the team and their advisors (if they have worked with other ICOs or have an existing legit business, chances are they are true to their words). Just remember to exercise extreme caution everytime! It is safe to assume that everyone in the cryptospace is trying to scam you. You can never be too careful.

I think the cryptocurrency market is not welcome, probably because there are so many scams and they are not protected by the government.

I think for beginners, it is advisable to understand the whole ICO explanation from the understanding of reading white paper, getting to know the ICO team, and accessing information about telegram.

One time I bought an insane amount of scam coins for like a few dollars thinking it might be it. Turns out the coins in ETHERDELTA where it was first sold were the only sale this coin ever had and nobody went to buy or sell. I became a bag holder at that point. Too bad experience but still I only lost a few dollars.

this is a natural process. Over time, all the scam dies. Unfortunately many people will have time to lose money. It's all greed and stupidity.

Yes there are plenty of scams, but this does not mean that there are not good projects, so we should support good ones and give them chance to be implemented. I think rating platforms should be more careful while ratings to encourage good ideas. I like www.icoguide.com very much because of their fair and real rates.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
It's already happens to me, I joined in one ICO's project and it so happens that I gave all my effort to work with them but at the end I noticed that the project was already a scam.

I also worry about the ICO investment, there are too many fraudulent projects. They draw the project, take the money and then disappear. You can only accept that since the beginning of the ICO investment is your acceptance of the loss of investment. Cry

I joined many facebook groups and they post scam project every minute. It's hard to find a legit group where admins actively delete bad posts, I think.

Indeed, there are cases when fraud projects collect money and hide, but it is not so simple, as the amounts are usually large and there is a possibility that they will be imprisoned. not many will go for it.

very sad to the confidence that has been planted on an ICO rigged by unscrupulous people who only want to make their own profit, which mostly happens is a scam ico when it is very convincing will succses but what happened reality is not in accordance with the plans that have been made

very unfortunate once this happens and often happens

My suggestion is, do your due diligence before investing even a penny in these projects! There are many Youtube clips, blog posts that provide easy to understand information about different types of  matrices that you need to consider before investing. This will help you to short-list the best projects to invest. Never invest your money without looking in to the

It is fact that there are so many scam coins it is very difficult to identify which one is genuine. However, best way to identify genuine is know the project white paper, their team etc.
