Bitcoin as currency? It's YES, For modern country's bitcoin already as currency because sometimes it use to pay some transaction but still depends on the country.
Just to be clear from all of us bitcoin is use as an alternate currency in digital form and our "FIAT" traditional money is still our main currency an no one can ever replace.

Bitcoin is not a failed currency, it is an investment market. And bitcoin would be better that way, think abut this: Many people were able to use bitcoin with the value of your currency in your own country, what gives it a difference to your own currency? Bitcoin is a venture that gives a lot of benefit to us, if it's just the a normal currency then there would be no sense of using it. No one controls it and that's what makes it good.

Right now bitcoin can not be currency for payment because not many merchant accept it and government dont have regulation on bitcoin. I think in the future when technology more advance, bitcoin can be as payment because with crypto we can more safely to store our asset
Here the actual problem ... Even when there's a merchant adopt Bitcoin as payment processor , there's a greedy government come to end the growth by making regulation to ban any crypto activity , that's really unfortunate and it's happening right now , you can see that kind case mostly in Asia zone , I've followed up it.
A slow adoption with a lot of challenge makes a lot of people switch it for a while to recognize Bitcoin as an investment, nothing wrong here.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

investment is an excess of bitcoin because bitcoin has a value that allows a higher rise. That's why bitcoin is preferred because besides being a bitcoin currency can be used as an asset that can provide future benefits.

Hi there brawdias! How can you tell that bitcoin failed as a currency? Just because you use bitcoin as investment it defy its whole purpose as a digital currency. Do you know that if bitcoin is not traded it could be on the graveyard today. Trading bitcoin is one of the driving force that makes bitcoin price high and low. It is because the supply and demand in the market which makes the value of bitcoin raises. Have you exactly knew that even the dollars or fiat are traded and they are called forex. Again, in that way the price of each currency could be determine.

well i don't think so, Its hard to tell wheather the bitcoin will change in the near future. Its because bitcoin price is not stable and it is hard to predict. bitcoin need to be spread evenly so the price could be more stable. The volatility of bitcoin makes merchants afraid to adopt it. But in long term bitcoin could be more stable, bitcoin is not failed but didn't success to be acceptable currency yet and bitcoin is not only currency but an asset investment indeed. a volatile thing such as bitcoin is really hard to become a currency that used globally.

I think bitcoin cant failed as a currency because how comes that the company of bitcoin will be failed, they are the demand business in this industry because they are the best and  all requirements that investors or what is looking for or finding is in the bitcoin company so there’s no reason to failed them as currency.

Bitcoin will go through ups and downs. He may even fail; but then the process can easily be restarted, since we now know how this works. At the moment, bitcoin may be too volatile for currencies. But this is the first organic currency.

The first thing we need as a currency is the popularity and the use of the crowd. Bitcoin is not enough people to start with and its popularity is not enough. It needs to be promoted in some ways. So for the time being, Bitcoin cannot technically become a currency because it The transaction speed is too slow, coupled with high transaction costs, Bitcoin is too immature for the currency.

If for the long term possible for bitcoin to be utilized as a means of payment however, the role of government is needed to provide a sense of security for someone if you want to invest in bitcoin.

If in the long term, I think it can happen. Seeing the development of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, very quickly spread. Many countries even make bitcoin as the official currency in their country, which is legitimately used as a means of transaction.

Bitcoin price can only be stable if it is regulated so that may still be long way from being stable. That is the main problem as price can easily be manipulated by whales and big corporations. News here and there can easily bring the price down.

Probably yes because many people realizes that bitcoin is not the future of cryptocurrency because of its limitation. Many altcoins that exceeds bitcoin but due to the fact that it is the most trustable cryptocurrency and has been accepted by most people that is why many people still use it. I believe that if this scenario continue, bitcoin would have stabilize and can be use as normal currency of mode of exchanges.
