Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

its not true because bitcoin is currency that any time any day or months the value is change because of industrial Do you think the bitcoin soon failed because of the currency ofcourse no this is a phenomenon that value of bitcoin can't failed.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Bitcoin is still in the process of development and some people just want quick results. Sooner or later scaling was bound to become a roadblock for many blockchain projects. Bitcoin is tackling that problem head on right now.

I think bitcoin failed as currency because of its volatile characteristics and its really difficult to buy when the value of money we are using as payment is changing and also the transactions is dependent on internet connection.

I do not agree with bitcoin because bitcoin is a crypto currency and in this time only a few people have understood and used this currency but in the future Bitcoin currency will become so popular. That all people will start using this currency in their daily transactions.

I think bitcoin cant failed as a currency because how comes that the company of bitcoin will be failed, they are the demand business in this industry because they are the best and  all requirements that investors or what is looking for or finding is in the bitcoin company so there’s no reason to failed them as currency.

Yes Bitcoin doesn't have enough uses in real life. Maybe it isn't that good as a currency, but it's still a verry good investmentproduct.

I think it's hard for Bitcoin to be a currency.
this is due to the high Bitcoin vitality and bitcoin prices that change every minute, this problem making it difficult for traders to determine the price of the goods they sell.

I think its just how people sees and gain from it. We don't want to be someone who disregards people because its conflicting our views. People gain a lot from investing in Bitcoin and I think its good and better as long as people are becoming satisfied with what they do. And its not like that people are not using Bitcoin as currency, Bitcoin is still used as currency and its not just as prominent as investing is. Long story short, let people be successful in ways they want, as long as its not affecting something. In Bitcoin's case its not hurting Bitcoin to be a investment rather than a currency.

I am believe that many central banks wont bitcoin become currency. If bitcoin to be currency, central bank can not print money like they want and I am believe inflation hard to increase.
But many obstable to make bitcoin as currency, like bitcoin using decentralized system and every country have different economic growth. Like twitter ceo said that bitcoin can be single currency in internet

You are right, I think this is the main reason why bitcoin still not considered as currency, but a lot of people consider it as digital currency. Soon maybe we can hear news about what really a bitcoin is.

i agree. Sadly we have to be in this situation because the platform is currently not capable to handle a huge numbers of users in its current huge number of rate. In the end we can't process bitcoin now the way it use to be before so in the end since it still a very good asset then people were just going on to this mindset

Eventually there will be enough adoption of bitcoins to make it a household name to every merchants. Those who do not accept it by then will be at a disadvantage.By then, the volatility issue as well as delays in transaction will have been solved. For now, bitcoin is not doing so well as a currency, only as a speculative tool.

Right now BTC enthusiasts don't use it for payments. This has made prices volatile making it ineffective as payment medium. So the greed has to end if we want to see it competing with options like PayPal.

apparently not, bitcoin has succeeded in becoming a currency and bitcoin can be used for anything and used for some payment methods available on the internet, bitcoin is very suitable to be a long-term investment.
