The government can't even keep its accounting in day - which is just a simple thing every family in the world are able to -  how the hell will they create a cryptocurrency or whatever tech stuff?

Never trust the bureaucrats, if they create anything just know it will be a worthless shit, like the "El petro, crypto of Venezuela"

What do you think about this possibility ? Would you invest in your government currency ?

Government always can! And I dont see any point for them to create one. Thats completely nonsense. Governement issued fiat money, traditional banking system, and other online financial transactions. Why do you even think they add cryptocurrency in their system?

They can, anyone can if he want. The only question is will it be a cryptocurrency, if the government will be issuer? I don't think so. I wouldn't invest in my government cryptocurrency because it will be the same as fiat.

That might actually what will happen in the future. Government will surely find way so they could control the cryptosystem, the only way they could do yhis is yo make a centralised coin. Cryptosystem is indeed the future, and government will not let they wont get any benefit from it. Having coin of their own would allow them to have full control and easy regulation might be applied.

Sure, but what it be decentralized? I don't think so.

Bitcoin and the crypto economy can exist without countries. That's part of what's so great about them.

certainly, because if the government did create a cryptocurrency there would be a change in economic development.
I want my country forward with the existence of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Another advantage of CryptoCurrency bitcoin business is to protect from inflation as a process of price increases continuously.
As we know if there is a political issue there will be inflation that harms the public.
so in the presence of cryptocurrency and bitcoin this hope there will be no such thing again.

Banks in some countries are studying their digital encrypted money!

I think I'm going to buy some big country's digital encryption currency, although these digital cryptographic currencies are not decentralized.

But it could be profitable, because the digital cryptocurrencies of these great powers have credit guarantees!
I really do not see the importance in investing in a currency that is controlled by the government. Yeah, this is something we definitely are going to start seeing in the long run, so it is not really going to be surprising anyway, and I expect that it would bring some advantage.

Still, I am not sure how this is going to have any major impact with respect to investment. Except for those who may want to be trading anyway which is still not an issue, I feel everything still balls down to how the country is able to manage well their economy at the end of the day.

I think with the recent moves from the G20. That is likely to happen. Governments of countries with positive and positive reviews of bitcoin and blockchain are very good. However, the creation of blockchain and coin separately in each country, this invisibility is related and affects much to the security and politics of the world. So, I think they will change this approach by entering or innovating in integration with the trend from bitcoin and the crypto market.

If government create a crypto currency coin, 100% with no hesitation i will invest in that government project. For what reason? Project made by a strong people such this goverment official, no scam for sure, so successful rate of that project is very high. Whole country would use this currency because government use their power to implement and introduce their currenc in their own  land

It is only a matter of time before governments do start creating their own crypto currencies. The thing is with most crypto currencies is that they are global and a crypto currency for individual countries may not do as well. If bitcoin was only traded in a small corner of the world it would probably be nearly worthless.

There is no restriction on creating crypto currencies, anyone who has the capacity to make their own. The real question was, are they going to support it and make it available for people, and they should publish their roadmap and make it under the smart contract also.

Of course, any govt can release an ICO,  with sufficient resources and funds, it is very easy, look at some company that has initially offering ICO,  govt funds is way larger than of the company, backed up or immuned to government laws, it is a piece of cake.

Would i invest in any government ico? Of course, since it was initiated legally by any govt, there is an assurance that it is not a scam and can easily be trusted in terms of legalities.

We are free to create products and services that compete against each other when it comes to mobile devices, computers, medicine, education, entertainment and so on. But when it comes to money itself we're not free to compete against the government.

There is a possibility that governments would create their own cyrptocurrencies in the future because as the saying goes "if you can't beat them, join them" , governments would realize the need to cater to the demands of the people for upgraded technology in order to adopt to the continuous growing modern technology. If as of today governments are not considering to join the latest technology it would be to their disadvantage and great loss in the future.
A lot of governments are already looking at how the blockchain technology can be integrated and it is just a matter of time before we started seeing real life cases of this happening.

Apparently, they do not have a choice and from the look of things anyway, the governments all over the world never had any problem with blockchain technology as most of them accepted immediately it is the future, the only problem they ever had was the idea of decentralization. Having a centralized currency anyway will still end up being manipulated, so I do not see how it is ever going to be different from the normal fiat system.

They are more capable of creating cryptocurrency. Specially today that online transactions are drastically increasing, government will be looking for a way to compete with other cryptocurrency. Although I do think that the anonymity of transactions will not be a feature of it because banks will be the body to monitor or regulate it.
