Altcoin is generally just a bigger market, but for the most part, bitcoin is the bridge between them. Generally, if you want to buy altcoin, you should buy bitcoin and then use the bitcoin to buy alts. It's hard to find a place to buy altcoin directly. I believe this is what makes Bitcoin and Ethereum particularly so great in terms of all other altcoins. As long as the system must buy altcoin using bitcoin or eth.

Bitcoin is still the one that take control of the market. Altcoins always needs bitcoin before you can transfer it into a fiat money. Bitcoin has important and big rule over altcoins. In terms of value and demand bitcoin still dominance. Also if you want to buy altcoins you still need bitcoins or ethereum.

indeed, I think bitcoin is a computerized cash and an electronic money as well. In the event that we endeavor to dissect both Bitcoin and altcoin, Bitcoin is solid in the market and it has full control of the market. At the point when Bitcoin value tumbles down altcoin esteem likewise devalues so as indicated by my perspective Bitcoin will stay at the best and be the lord of the crypto world and Without bitcoin, there's no Altcoins in light of the fact that you can't purchase altcoin without utilizing bitcoin by and large so I will state bitcoin will dependably

As my view in the current market, Bitcoin still dominate the crypto market so far. Whenever its value go fluctuation, it will affected directly to the market. the price of altcoin would go along with the price of btc. So, BTC is hard to be replace now. In the next time, i hope that there are some big coin could has enough power to compete with BTC in the crypto market. So, the market would be balance and not defends on BTC anymore.

It was well known at the time that bitcoin was not ready to scale to those levels that quickly. However, it remains a trustless decentralized ledger system that people are comfortable with.

Developers now have their work cut out for them to push the tech forward to scale in anticipation of the next big wave like we saw in late 2017 and early 2018. That’s my understanding anyways.

Bitcoin is used most by many people, we trade altcoins for bitcoin and we multiply our portfolio so that we have bitcoin. As you can see the most rewarding when selling altcoins is the bull season where the moment we gain a lot of bitcoin coz it is at all times high and alts are good.

I still believe that the price of all altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin, so it is an indicator in the market of crypto-currencies. Of course there are exceptions and some coins show growth even in a downtrend, but there are very few such cases, because such pumps are made artificially.

I think the control has always been with Bitcoins. And to my understanding it will be like that for the coming years.  But this could very well change if an altcoin is created for a growing niche filed in our society where blockchain technology can be easily integrated with. Until that happens Bitcoins will rule the crypto world!

Btc controls the market now. But I believe Eth is coming and will surpass Btc in 2020. In short: That coin which has the largest market cap controls the market and decides the general price trend.

Bitcoin will always be the king. But if you want to multiply your bitcoin. In an uptrend buy altcoins because they increase faster and on downtrend sell back to bitcoin or tether because altcoins drop faster

Bitcoin already controls the market and will continue to controle this market for a while. Even though some new altcoins have far better ideas and greater tech bitcoin has the popularity. As long as bitcoin is the only way to purchase new altcoins these altcoins will never take control. For that to happen there need to be more direct altcoin to fiat possibilities.

Most people also know Bitcoin dominates the market and is capitalized as well as the highest price on the coinmarketcap. So when Bitcoin increases or decreases or impacts badly on the environment, the Altcoins will also be affected. Bitcoin is the holder and operator of the crypto market.

Well...to me, I don't see altcoins taking or deciding the market. Even though if there's a very decline in bitcoin price and if the so called altcoins might want to take the market, I don't see it lasting for 24hours or less before bitcoin take's over again. Though it might happen.

In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

Yet there is no doubt that the demand of altcoins is created artificially - the price rises when there is zero volume and goes down after the market is saturated.
The main problem of alts is that they do not manage to hold their positions even on the ICO price level - they are usually dumped immediately after listing.
