In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.
However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.
This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.
Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.
It seems like alternative cryptocurrencies are taking more advantage in recent days but I can say that bitcoin will stay on the top for many years from now because it is still Powerful, and it is still the best one among all. If bitcoin change most altcoins would reacts to the market and that is how the altcoins are moving by always following the lead of ETH and BTC. And obviously BTC will always take the lead in the market followed by ETH and the other altcoins. |

Btc still maintain its strong dominance in the market even in this bear market, I know very well that altcoin is pulling weight in the market but don't see altcoin overtaking bitcoin dominance in the near future.

As we all know Bitcoin is leader in the market and still stood on top,Bitcoin controlling the whole crypto market. Bitcoin popularity increasing and most of countries accept Bitcoin as a currency which lead the Bitcoin on top. Altcoins also struggling and will take time to overcome the Bitcoin,There are many altcoins with massive potential and in future will give competition to the Bitcoin.
All of the cryptocurrency's values and prices are depended on Bitcoin's price. Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that is controlling the market. If the bitcoin experiencing downfall in the market, I will sure that altcoins also experiencing the same issues and situation. But there are cryptocurrencies that are not depended on bitcoin and maybe they are shitcoins. These shitcoins are not legitimate and maybe they have no value in the market. Indeed, Legitimate cryptos depended in Bitcoin but i'm not saying that all cryptos that are depending on bitcoin are legit and good. |

Yes bitcoin is the king of crypto and I agree that bitcoin will take control of the market instead of altcoin. I think the price of other coins are dependent on the ups and down of bitcoin. That is the main reason why btc is the king of all crytocurrency and it is controlling the market because everyone is believing in btc and no other coin is so reliable. But for trading you can take ETH and other coins which are good to trade |

I thought it was bitcoin. But that's just my opinion because most people who know altcoins are already familiar with bitcoin. So I think bitcoin controls the market. Altcoins also can actually control the market. But I do not see it completely. I only see it in bitcoin and altcoins tend to follow the movement of bitcoin. So bitcoin is controlling the market. Bitcoin is more likely the king of cryptocurrency so it will control mostly all the altcoins, usually the price of Bitcoin and Altcoin are opposite , If Bitcoin is up , altcoin's price will be down . And rarely, when Bitcoin is down , every Altcoin is down also, that means the market is being swallowed by whales and sharks. |

I agree with your assessment some coins shows resiliency even though the market is in Bearish I guess it's all about what those coins can bring in the community, some coins just rely on the strength of bitcoin and ethereum while the other so-called good coin can manage on its own.
