can't find the official freebitco.in thread, so i thought i'd post here. the odds are ridiculously bad.. so bad that i'm not sure if it's worth doing.

you basically have a 9 in 10,000 chance to win 1.9 cents,  7 in 10,000 chance to win 19 cents, 3 in 10,000 chance to win $1.89, 2 in 10,000 chance to win $18.90, and 1 in 10,000 chacne to win $189.

these are based on BTC value of 630/per.

i don't think i want to stick around for that. it feels just degrading.

you are working for it still.. by typing into a browser. at this rate, it takes 6 times to make a penny (if i remember right).

Odds are low but the refferal system works reall well. For te amount of ime involved, i find it alright. I got 5 people referred clicking away and making satoshis.
When the click was for a 1000 satoshis, it was worth a few cens of cents. Then the exchange rate gt through e roof and those clicks are worth a good bit more today. Same thing can go on and on until it's gone. It's free money in the end.
I'm currenly at 60K satoshis and i did pretty much nothing for those. Covers transaction fees and such for a bit. :-)

I like FreebitCo.in more than some of the other faucets out there. The minimum payout is comparable to or better than most of the other faucets out there and there is the possibility of higher payout. I've never won the higher amounts, but I did win 0.0003 once. I like that you can multiply your winnings if you like. I've won (and lost) quite a bit doing that Smiley

Yes but the freebitco.in gig is unlikely to be longlasting

Unsustainable biz model one would think but who knows

I don't get why folks are griping about something that they are getting for *free*. The payouts got cut, so what. It makes sense since BTC values have skyrocketed.

It's dust , you gonna spend a lot to be able to send this , it's like they are given you pieces of a coin and you have to glue them.

Well, actually they missed my payment yesterday, so my guess it's that the site is not reliable.

I got 0.00010147 BTC stuck there right now.

I've hit the second tier of rewards once, aside from that, it's mostly just accumulating money over a period of time. For someone who can't invest too heavily in anything else but this and mining, it's at least something.

Also, I think your account has to be at least a week old to get a payment? If you haven't gotten yours yet, try posting on the official thread. A simple google search will point you in the right direction. This is my first post so I can't put the link up, sorry. Sad

The owner seems pretty active in his thread with many people confirming payouts, so I'm pretty sure it's legit, and any error is probably just standard computing/human error. I don't really see how this can be a fraud since you're not paying for much, just five minutes of your time.

Yep. The admin of the site is user:wetsuit here. He seems pretty proactive in responding to problems. I got paid out once and I have enough stored up there for this coming monday.

Well, its not worth it if you compare it against a job or something. You barely earn pennies for your work in a week. But its still fun watching that balance go up.

Also, up in the corner, it's YOUR current total, or how much you've earned.

Maybe freebitco.in give small amount like 0.00000194 BTC. Because freebitco.in give you free BTC. But one day maybe 0.00000194 BTC is worth. who's know?  Wink
