I don't think it is a threat, in the first place I don't think there is a competition as both cryptocurrencies can exist at the same time and be used perfectly fine.

I'm sure that Ethereum and no other coin threaten the positions of Bitcoin on the crypto-currency market. All alternative currencies must go a long way before threatening the positions of bitcoins.

Bitcoin is still on top coin than other crypto so from the start I do not think it will surpass btc. You know many coins always competing with bitcoin but still btc is the best and their is growth could happen. |

I don't think so. Base on what I observe there is no way for ethereum to surpass bitcoin. I don't think that for now Ethereum has the capability to be able to make full of its self and contest bitcoin.

Let me show you some NBA perspective on this, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency right? same as LeBron as the king of NBA. But here comes ethereum the prince of cryptocurrency just like Ben Simmons as the prince of the NBA. The prince will dethrone the king on the eastern conference finals same as ethereum that will dethrone bitcoin in the next couple of years. Wether we like it or not the king will reach its limit. Mark my word. Trust the ethereum process!
The NBA reference is golden. I'd give you some merits if i had some to spare. But yes, i am in complete agreement that Ethereum is a definite threat to bitcoin. Both are great crypto currencies but Ethereum really pushes the bar a little higher with it's advanced features and technology. I can easily how it can gain more mass adoption at this rate. |

No I don't believe this. I believe we are talking about different sports. Maybe Bitcoin is Lebron James and Ethereum is Jeff Gordon. For me they cannot really be compared. |

So true. They may be have the same characteristics and similarities but they should have the different purpose. At the same time etc would need to run long way to reach for the bitcoin. Bitcoin is more popular and that is an advantage. As long as the coin functions that is the thing that is important. |

If you check it might happen but if you want to reduce the Bitcoin throne in my opinion it's very difficult or impossible, but we also don't know what will happen if the year goes on Bitcoin continues to fall ,, |
