I can't escape to notice that many users here on forum have terrible rebbelious fear of governments. Like government is some evil devil that will destroy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But is this realy so, do such claims have any reasonable ground at all?
To my opinion the cause for something like that is again ignorance. I think that regulation that is mentioned in many countries is often mixed with centralization which is something that is not natural to Bitcoin because it's functioning totaly different than fiat currencies. Also some warnings to people that Bitcoin is volatile and risky investment that come from national banks are often interpretated as hostile behaviour towards Bitcoin and attempts to make people not to use it.
Is there any hope that Bitcoin users and governments will find the common language and help Bitcoin together to be more accepted in economy, especialy by businesses and to become more "legal" everywhere?
I think there are many bitcoin users who are fear that governments to take control over bitcoin because bitcoin is still decentralised in many countries and thus no government is now taking no care over any bitcoin related activities and thus they are free to do any thing with bitcoin because there is no one to keep eye over bitcoin and if bitcoin will be take over by the government then it will impose tax over bitcoin and thus bitcoin will be regulated by the government then no illegal transactions could be carried by bitcoin

Many bitcoin users have fear of the governments, because at first the government does not like bitcoin ,for they do not have the power to govern bitcoin , bitcoin holders are afraid the government might impose strict implementation of ban on bitcoin transaction in industry and other establishments ,stores, restaurants , hotels , this might be woarst thing that will happen againts bitcoin.

I think it is not a fear just a form of worry. Now there are already some countries that prohibit the circulation and use of bitcoin. Now that worry that is increasingly appear on the surface, users are increasingly worried about how if the government in the country will do the same. If the government in your country forbids bitcoin as a bitcoin user what can you do? Are not you worried?

Some people fear government with just cause. Big, bad government has a notorious habit of locking up people who get on the wrong side of the powers that be. Freedom is something everyone cherishes, and it is always better to err on the side of caution.

Mostly bitcoin user's fears that what if government banned bitcoin in their country, if government announce that bitcoin is illegal then it can't be use anymore.
It is not beneficial for governments to completely prohibit bitcoins and cryptocurrencies. It is advantageous for them to impose large tax on all transactions with cryptocurrencies. They need complete control, not a complete ban.

Maybe because there are certain types of people that utilized bitcoin for evil purposes like illegal trading. Example. Drugs, guns, human trafficking and child pornography who fears the government. But, i also agree with what you said. Governments are afraid and considered bitcoin as illegal and looked odd and suspicious because they didnt understand how it works. The concept and ways of a decentralized system. That's the reason why other countries forbid the used of Bitcoin.

I think why many users think like that is because of the influence of others. The government only plays a partial role in the cryptocurrency and we shouldn't worry much about it. For the government they'r just doing their jobs which is inconvenient for us at best because they cannot really harm Bitcoin in anyway. We should just focus on our day to day basis in Bitcoin and just make a platform that one day can be accepted by the government.

Bitcoin users fears government because they might ban cryptocurrencies. For traders who lucked out and made big money. That is a fear of your hard earned money getting taxed. And for bad guys. Fear of getting caught and not being able to launder money.

The one main reason why bitcoin users have fear of governments that they are just afraid of the huge taxes that can be placed by the government.I just have some thoughts that the government wont let people to be involved in crypto business.

Some country Government don't support bitcoin.Or another reason could be is that they are just afraid of the huge taxes that will be placed by the government. And lastly there could be a misunderstanding about the role of the government that is why they are thinking too much.

Bitcoin users have fear of government because some government do not accept bitcoin, but if you are just a newbie and having a fear it is normal because they are new in this industry. They do not know yet how to overcome their fear.

In Vietnam a lot of bitcoin users fear the government. This is what makes them nervous. Because the Vietnamese government does not accept this currency. So there is no legal protection of the currency. Players are responsible for themselves.

It is because the government has a power to ban and regulate or prohibit the used of bitcoin on their restriction. So many bitcoin users are scared and afraid of that maybe their bitcoins will get lost and their investment will vanished.

It is maybe because those investors and users are afraid that their government will ban cryptocurrencies in the countries.

Government do not support the use of bitcoin because they have no control over it and it pays no taxes to them. They give some penalty to prevent the generals using it. As a result many users are at risk and have fear of getting caught.

bitcoin users fear the government because the government always wanted to remove bitcoin, the government always assumed that bitcoin is virtual currency. So if one day the government banned bitcoin or bitcoin, then the user would lose everything.

This is because governments are very powerful, they can put legal barriers. As a result the current investors will also get affected.

Some people fear because goverment will put a tax on them big tax small earn. Corrupt people in goverment will taking advantage on it. They will use in thier own lives and they did'nt want to help thier people thats my opinion so some people fear on the goverment because you earn.Money and it will go to corrupt officials so what will happen? They will take an advantage for those people who has simple life is to focus on earning.
I think if the government legalizes it then that will be the key to its success. The future if BTC depends on government policy The government holds the fate of Bitcoin in their hands. They can make policies that can destroy Bitcoin or make it better and prosperous, if the government forbids the use of BTC around the world, it will lose relevance and hence fade and die
