We don't have any direct competitor as our idea is Unique and also our new consensus algorithm proof-of-online which removes the traditional ads revenue for website operators and opens a new revenue stream for them.

So what is the purpose of the tokens?  I understand you are raising money for the development of the app but what would someone use these tokens for?

Why do you need both ICE and OIO ?

OIO are the tokens sold at the Token Generation Event and generated only once. They are the fuel for our ecosystem, website operators that will integrate our solution will require staking OIO tokens in order to mine ICE tokens using the proof-of-online algorithm. OIO Token holders that are not website operators will still be able to earn ICE tokens by using the Proof-of-Stake algorithm and keeping the OIO tokens in a smart contract. A good example is NEO which is required to generate GAS.
ICE tokens will be integrated into our merchant system, more details about that can be found in our whitepaper.

How many tokens you plan to sell during private sale?

If all tokens will be sold at private then the Pre and Public Token Generation Event won't take place. You can buy the OIO tokens from the exchanges after the TGE is over if you didn't managed to buy.

I was doing some research and from what I was able to see it seems that BAT would be the main competitor, seems to me they are doing exactly those things that OIO is trying to do.

Brave ( BAT ) it's actually a browser while our solution comes with extensions for all major browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, IE and also applications for mobile. Brave shows certain ads that comply with their policy while we DON'T show any ads. Our solution also brings a new revenue stream for the website operators and earn ICE tokens without having to show their visitors any ADS so they can focus more on the quality of their content, websites.

Unfortunately, due to regulations we are not able to accept US, China for our Pre/Public ICO.

These restrictions are really annoying and limiting access to so much funds and people.China is really big market and is such a shame that projects don't get a chance to penetrate that market also. But there is always VPN I guess

It's great that OIO is doing an extension for all browser not a dedicated one like BAT did with Brave.There will be no ADS at all unlike on Brave where you do have certain adds that Brave allows.

I don't think so.In most cases you have to have your own Ethereum address with ERC-20 support to get and store OIO.You don't have access to your private keys on Binance m8.

Basically, user's can share their network with other users and get paid when someone is using their bandwidth. Microleaves is the largest residential peer to peer proxy network in the world and we have very high volume of users and companies that are in need of residential Ips. Users will get paid for each GB that they share which will be a really good revenue.
We already have the infrastructure which we have been working for the past 14 months on it and we delayed the release just to tight it to Online.io project.

You can send funds from Binance but you will need to set an ERC20 supported address to receive the OIO tokens on.
