yes, what you suggest is true, as a beginner you should be able to learn more here, it is for beginners should they learn about analyze and invest first, for example beginners they already want to trade I suggest to be careful in trading , because trading is not as easy as we imagine.

Semi-new to it too and I've since learned enough to figure out how to trade bitcoin for alt coins.  You can read about it and learn about the tech but to trade you just need to know a few things.

1) When to buy it.  Earlier in the year BTC was flying up and no one know where it would hit resistance so those of us who were impatient, bought and watched it go down over $10,000.  It looks to have found support around $7800 and the next resistence hurdle appears to be around $11,500.  If it clears $11,500 it could go back to the all time high or higher.

2) How to buy it.  I use coinbase and it's pretty easy once you click around.  The mobile app is great.

3) For someone that doesn't have bankroll to buy full bitcoins, the crazy money is being made in alt coins or as some people call them, third gen coins.
These will loosley track btc and are very cheap as you've probably heard.  Using Binance and tying it to your Coinbase account is the best for buying these.
Online research through these boards and reddit can help you find the popular or most reputable coins.  Searching the coin on Wallet Investor will also show you some projections to help determine if the investment is a good one or poor.

Im a newbie in cryptocurrency. I first heard bitcoin last june 2017, still im learning about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. There still some words that hard to understand that only people who invest bitcoin can undertand. Joing in a bounty campaign help me undertand and learn more about cryptocurrency.

First thing I want to advise to you is that you should do some research about cryptocurrency and bitcoin on google and watch some videos about it on you tube. In the beginning everything seems complicated but as long as you spend your time researching and involving yourself with this topics then you will start to comprehend it.  Try first learning the basics such as the history, how to make wallets, how to make transactions and how the market works. Then later on try also reading more advance materials.

While reading, do it on actual because not all can be learn through reading it, other can be learned through experience. As a newbie, you have to learn lot of things about blockchains and how to work on it and everything that will use to it. You have to be careful on every site you are visiting because there are some phishing site that will enter your account, if not.

I think you should read articles on on the Internet and also watch Youtube clips that explain things in a simple manner about the blockchain, cryptocurrencies,etc. Bitcointalk.org is also a great place to look up for answers for your questions as well as ask questions.  I also suggest looking for meet ups, talks  and gatherings around your area. I live in a pretty large city close to a metropolitan area. The local library has a meeting on cryptocurrencies every Wednesday. Read, Ask, Network these are the best ways to learn about cryptocurrencies and related stuff. All the best!

First thing that you have to learn in crypto is what is cryptocurrency, you should read some article about the cryptocurrency. How cryptocurrency work, after learning the basic that is the time that you can learn about how you can earn crypto. For me before I join here I read some articles about the crypto then I read some reviews then I study and read about the price of the crypto because I am curious about the price and why it is not stable. Then after reading or studying all of that I study on how I will earn crypto even I don't have money to invest on it. I want to invest thath time but I do not have the money that is why I join some bounties. Even you do not have the money to invest you can invest your time and effort in doing the task in bounties.
