I reset the blockchain to test. Its still getting stuck (on 877 if thats relevant)
Delete peers.nxt and make sure that u connected to 88.198.210.245. Disconnect all other nodes until u get the whole blockchain. Other nodes may run older soft.

Now we have to wait when all other peers migrate to new version. Some problems may be caused by a node u connected to.

Is there some way to permanently disconnect peers? (or until you manually reconnect them) As it is right now, I hit the disconnect icon and they disappear for 5 seconds and then come back again automatically.

I deleted my Nxt directory and started Nxt-0.2.10, but now it won't download the block chain. It shows "Recent blocks [-1493]" and "Orphaned blocks [1553]"

When the peer is listed in "Known peers", click on the purple trash can.

A lot of people ask me how many blocks per day they can mine with XXX coins. Let's count together...
There are should be 1440 blocks per day for 1'000'000'000 coins.
If all these coins were used for mining then 694'444 NXT (1 bil / 1440) would mine 1 block a day.
But coins moved to a brand new account must wait for 1440 blocks to mature. Also some owners don't bother with mining or their mining soft crashes, so only part of all coins mine.
If u look at Recent blocks widget u can see a red-white target icon. If u divide 100% by the target value u'll get what part of coins is used for mining. Of course u should take average value of targets. For example, if target in average is 400% then only 100/400 = 25% of coins are mining blocks.
Now u can take how many coins u own and multiply by target (absolute value, 400% = 4), then divide by 694'444 to get how many blocks u would mine per day (approximate value).
PS: Someone check math plz, I may be wrong.

When the peer is listed in "Known peers", click on the purple trash can. Doesn't work. It still reconnects.

Doesn't work. It still reconnects.
Coz other peers share their lists of peers. Leave that node alone, at some point in the future it may wake up and start working.

Try again plz. I figured out the problem. I was running the command 'java -cp Nxt/Nxt.zip Nxt' from my home directory and Nxt would the create it's files (assets.nxt, accounts.nxt, orders.nxt, blocks.nxt, peers.nxt) in my home directory and not in the Nxt directory. You have to enter the Nxt directory and issue the start command there.

Resend it after the transaction expires. We have to wait until most of nodes upgrade to 0.2.10.
