With the internet and how much widespread knowledge there is about Bitcoin, if they haven't gotten it yet perhaps they never will. Or perhaps they have understood what Bitcoin is and are threatened by what it could do to society. After all that is what they thought about the internet right? If we can't control them, all hell will break loose. Well they were wrong about that one, and they are wrong about this one. I expect the status quo to get challenged in the near future, and governments can either fight it or accept it. It will happen regardless of what their will wants.

All you can do is express your genuine opinion about bitcoins on social media and other online forums. If more people start investing and benefit from it, government will also start appreciating crypto.

Is no longer news that various countries of the world are not in support of Bitcoin either as a means of payments or for trading purpose. This are been a challenges most Bitcoin users are facing throughout the countries of the world inexception of few countries.

I have begin to see it that maybe they are thinking that adoptions of Bitcoin might bring a partial collapse of the banking system and also a means of curbing money laundering.
So, let hear your views on what can be done to make our government realised the important of Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology.
The only way government will consider accepting bitcoins is if the price can stay stable and doesn't vary like it does now. Over the period of last five years government has realized the value of blockchain technology and it is really considering using it in their systems. Once we see a wide adoption of blockchain, we will eventually find more usage of bitcoin and then maybe government will considering accepting it.

Some countries have legalized bitcoin while others have either banned it or just stay neutral about it. Some think that it is because of grid but for me I think it on the other side, maybe the government just don't want their people to get blinded by investing in bitcoin after all it is not backed up by anything. If anything goes wrong in bitcoin that made people lose their money they cannot do anything about it anymore because nowhere we can find anyone to complain for since no one owns bitcoin.

The governments' allegations on bitcoin is based on points which they have no solid prove. They see bitcoin to be a source of funding terrorism and other money laundering businesses. But the question is, "is the USD not capable of the same funding of terrorism?" I believe strongly that the hidden agenda for their claims is basically due to the fact that Bitcoin takes the power back to the people through its decentralized financing.
Anyway, the governments wish all bitcoin avenues to integrate KYC and AML in their operations before considering it as legal.

You can challenge the decision of government in court. This is already being done in India where a writ is given against the latest RBI decision.

The governments are still not positive on legalizing bitcoin because it is a decentralized currency and there is no authorotative control over it and governments will not allow any currency in the legal system where it has no control and chances of tax evasions are more.Still governments realize that btc can boost the nations economy and are setting up some committies to take legal steps against it and slowly they will realise its importance.

The only way we can make the government hear or even try to deem that we are still alive and that we are in dire need of a regulation. Is that we have enough of our population have an active voice in society and this happens when we have a large number of influence due to the information drive that we should seek to further with the use of forums such as this or instructional videos in which we can really make a difference I do think that this can be made to hear

you can do nothing actually, because only governments with a broken financial system like in western europe (germany/france aslo usa, uk)

will approve bitcoin, same is for japan, but they will face the consequenzes of an extremely confusing cryptoeconomics.

we are in dire need of regulation?

do you know what you are talking about,

if you want regulation, why do you break existing regulation then?

there was regulation before bitcoin and it said clearly = bitcoin is illegal the gay national banksters are the masters and everyone else is their money earning cattle, you arent supposed to create money, like them

The bitcoin as a crypto currency is still very young and has not been noticed by all countries so it just need some time until it gets legalized by the country.
Governments should set up a certain amount taxes on bitcoin and give a good chance to transaction among trust bank to transaction and trading and mining.

Currently, I don't think any governments control Bitcoin. Governments use laws to control things, people, situations. In order to control Bitcoin they need to set laws for it. The laws can be good or bad for Bitcoin, and ultimately the laws would be hard to enforce. Because the government didn't create Bitcoin, and no single person or even group of people can control Bitcoin, they will need to try and use laws to control it.

The government has to give it control over it to legitimize it. Bitcoins will have to be concentrated. Bitcoin payment system needs to be improved and strengthened. Transaction move will be made more quickly. This system has to be sponsored. Bitcoin beneficiaries and main objectives across the country should be highlighted in front of everyone. To contribute its contribution to the country and the nation.

In my opinion, what will make governments worldwide to legalize bitcoin and cryptocurrencies generally is regulations. Once the governmens are able to regulate it, they will bring it fully under their control and from there they can decide how they want cryptocurrency operated in a way to discourage financial crime and terrorism financing.

there is not much we can do for the government to legalize bitcoin, as some countries still have fragile economic conditions as well as their respective problems.
If we want them to legalize maybe we should give valid evidence and reasoning that "bitcoin is something worthy of legalization, and a country will actually benefit from it"

What we can do is to do what is right. Cooperate with the government's policy for Bitcoin. If we cooperate, Bitcoin will be legalized. Though it will eventually be regulated, our source of income will continue and their speculations/concerns will be answered. If they get tax out of it, so be it.  At least we are not breaking any law and we still have Bitcoin.

I think the government always thinks about negative things for bitcoin, especially always thinking in money laundering and terrorist financing, but the government is not looking for a solution to it all, because we know with a decentralized system it can prevent negative hang things because it is easy to track transaction.

It is very clear from the attitude of governments of several countries that they are not in the favour of bitcoin and various countries of the world are not in support of bitcoin as a means of payment or not even for the trading purposes because they do no find bitcoin to be that much reliable and feels that it is not trust worthy enough because bitcoin transactions are involved in selling drugs , explosives, money laundering etc and they do no want to put their national security at risk. Government need to understand that bitcoin has that potential to be very great and it has reduced poverty to a very great extent and has provided employment to millions of people.

I think the reason why government is banning bitcoin is because of its uncertain value that goes down and goes up because this is very harmful for someone using it and using it as a currency in a country might cause mental and might cause loss in profit and a downfall in currency. Bitcoin to be accepted needs to have a stabled value but in that idea bitcoin will just be a currency rather than an investment.
