I can not support you, because I believe that it is the bitcoin that currently dominates the market in the category of the most trusted asset in the crypto-currency world, I think that in the end people will still choose bitcoin, because still it develops more professionally

In my opinion, altcoins can make you bigger profit than bitcoin but bitcoin investment is safer. Some altcoins just vanish after a crash, bitcoin rises again after a crash.

Altcoins are gaining more spike up in price because they have good scope in marketcap of that specific coin . while bitcoin market cap dominates 40% of total crypto marketcap , so bitcoin cant increase like other good alts .

Bitcoin is separate entity from alts and safest investment in crypto market , alts are new and ye to grow and prove themselves if they do fulfill the project and its promises . so they can grow much more than btc .

Is it possible to happen? Altcoins crushing bitcoin in terms of price, trading, etc.? I am just curious about all of your thoughts, so don't hesitate to reply and get yourself justified Smiley

This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN.

Yes it is possible, however it doesnt mean it crushes bitcoin, for instance ether and bitcoin are not even competitors, they do different things. Ether surpassing bitcoin in market cap means nothing.

Ahh! Umm! No!

Actually the thing is bitcoin still stands a chance to overcome the alts. have you ever read or heard about the BTC dominance in the CMC or somewhere? Do you know how much it is ! Its around 37% dominance , and I am sure its earned one not just coming out of imagination.

Thats the best thing that can explain the whole scenario. So I am pretty sure altcoin will be in the second position all the time.

Also altcoin are things, which come and go all the time leaving behind those few which are at the top! But surely they cant take down the BTC at all.

while you are right in saying bitcoin earned its dominance and rank and superior than altcoins , but it is true only if we rank them in terms of reliability and popularity .

but if we rank them in terms of profitability and scope then altcoins will win , not all alts , but there are many alts which do not dominate even 1%  of total marketcap and best projects , for example Fusion , it marketcap is just 0.1% of total market cap , so investment in this coin will give me much more return than btc which already dominate 40% mcap .

hope you understand my point .

I dont think so.
Up to this point, no cryptocurrency has comparable prices to the BTC.
Technically, the BTC is outdated, but I think there will be no electronic money to replace the BTC

Of course it could happen though as of the moment bitcoin wont crash,in the future if this is going to happen im sure there will be one coin to stand out from these shitcoins in the market, there will always one coin to lead the others and amongst of these shit altcoins. For me altcoins should be improving what bitcoin has so that there will be some sense of creating these coins.

of course. I agree with your opinion mate, maybe is the question is Altcoin more profit than bitcoin I strongly agree. Bitcoin will be always on top. before altcoin is present, bitcoin is born and bringing revolutionary technology. Altcoin appears by using bitcoin-carrying technology (blockchain).

My opinion is that bitcoin has been in the cryptocurrency market for a long time and I don't even think it has any competitors. But still, I am considering for short-term trading, and other altcoins. I also think it is interesting to invest in promising ICO projects. The main thing is the analysis of the cryptocurrency, in which you plan to invest.
To date, I have analyzed and invested in the Countinghouse project. If you look at the white paper carefully, you'll understand why I did it. (I'm also a member of the bounty company)

This is possible but it will take a lot of effort. Even if other crypto is already way better than bitcoin in terms of technical functionalities, still bitcoin is most popular and has more people using it. It's all about a network size. If some altcoins beat bitcoin in terms of network size then bitcoin will be soon be replaced by new king in terms of Market cap and trading volume. Please don't base on the price when comparing, look at the trading volume and market cap.
I still have not seen a better coin than Bitcoin. because Bitcoin is the best coin that has the highest price and the ever-increasing development is able to influence the level of enthusiasts Bitcoin to increase. it is able to prove that Bitcoin is reliable and capable of being much more valuable. so still there are better than Bitcoin.

Holidays showed a sustained growth from the 8000.0 lows to the crucial level 8500.0. Yesterday the upward movement was picked by volume jump after the price crossed the Bullish Trend Line. Today volumes distribute above the 8500.0 level, that hints that the price is probably ready to gain a foothold on this level today. Bullish Trend Line and 8000.0 – 8100.0 zone stays as support levels, from the upside - 8800.0 and 9000.0 levels with 100-days EMA would be the next target if the price holds above 8500 today.

Yes that is right
Bitcoin is at least something with a good recognisable name and people tend to trust it
It is better for a long term

The bitcoin itself is the grand storage of value comparable with gold. For gold and bitcoin as well there is the rule "buy and hold". Therefore, the lean limit of transactions is not crucial for the incease of value.
For more transactions and usability there is the "zoo" of altcoins.

I think the next best thing after BTC is ETH.

It's pretty much better already in terms of tech and has the potential to overtake BTC altogether.

The better? These are absolutely different directions. Bitcoin is the only one. And on the basis of the etherium there is an insane amount of altcoins

They are complementary, bitcoin is the flagship and the rest are coins that have their own space most of the times anyway. My favourites are tokens in fact.
