Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN?

Altcoins were created later bitcoin. This gives them an advantage, they often solve any problem, but that doesn't mean they are better. Perhaps they are more promising, but the" grandfather " bitcoin was and still remains the main cryptocurrency.

What does the price has to do here? There is tech side reviewed, price can't decide if coin is good or not, so at least if you spam, don't make it so nonsense.
Of course altcoins are better, there are a lot of examples of this like ethereum, monero but... The reason why people say no is that they aren't as decentralized as bitcoin. This coin is unique on it's way.

I don't believe Altcoins will be better than bitcoin in any way. Bitcoin has been the greatest coin and the father of all other coins. For altcoins to supersede bitcoin will be almost impossible. And, I do not think the price of coin really decides which coin is good or not. So, as regards cryptocurrencies, I do not see altcoins beating bitcoin at all.

I dont think so. With this much market cap and value of bitcoin it is kind of impossible for any altcoin to suppress bitcoin within a short period of time. Even though I think Ethereum has the best chance among all altcoins to beat the bitcoin.

if we were to combine all altcoins together, then altcoins are beating bitcoin everyday in terms of market cap and trading volume.  but if we choose only 1 altcoin vs bitcoin, then it's different story.  although there were some days a single altcoin had more trading volume than bitcoin, the bitcoin remains the most traded coin in general.

technology-wise, there are plenty of coins better than bitcoin, but bitcoin is the father of all coin since it's the starter and big time crypto holders are holding bitcoins.  they are the people who controls the market.  they are also controlling altcoin prizes by playing altcoin prices with their bitcoins.

And if you see the history of bitcoin it's at 2010 it is under 1 $ so it's clear any coin makes like bitcoin just give time to them and be calm don't think you buy any coin and it go up day by day so every coin has potential to became like bitcoin.

   Abdul86 I have same opinion. Many coins have huge potential if they become accepted by the people. We
need to promote new projects, we need to speak about it in our communities. Like you I know history of
crypto-currencies and how big progress some of them maid until now.
   Bitcoin will be on the first place for many more years, in future when using of crypto-currencies become
normal thing who knows what will happen. Not any like you said Abdul86, but some of them have huge
potential to be very wanted in the future, why not to buy them now and wait for that moment when
demand and price start to rise.

This is for all of us to gain knowledge between ALTCOINS and BITCOIN.

I don't think that's possible for now. Although everyone has a belief that bitcoin would one day be dethroned but no one knows whether or not it would happen or when it would happen. It has been one of the biggest crypto debate till date. The only altcoin that have come close to achieving such is Ethereum. During their "the flippenning" campaign the gap between Bitcoin's and Ethereum's marketcap was super tiny. So should any altcoin replicate what eth did, they might just dethrone the big bad wolf.

If we are to talk about profitability, Bitcoin is a safe haven because it is a strong coin. Altcoins could give the same rate but the tricky part is choosing the right altcoin.

On the other hand, if we are to talk about different aspect, aside from the price, profitability, and such, certain altcoins are better than Bitcoin. This would be based from transaction speed, fee, etc.

In my own opinion, bitcoins will be always better to any cryptocurrency that will be released in the future because the gap in prices for altcoins and bitcoins is too high so there is no doubt that bitcoins will be the most superior always.
