The best way is to spend some money and buy a hardware wallet. If looking for free option then you can consider exodus, which is a desktop wallet, and free online wallet is blockchain.info and coinbase.
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

Best way to store bitcoin safely is to have a wallet that will have passcode and your password must be hard to guess.

The best way to store bitcoins is to store them in a hardware purse or a paper purse. In addition, you also use the way of inquiring some people that you know and asking them about the wallet that they've used, as simply as that.

Well the best way would be to make it inaccessible on the web that is that to copy the address where it is stored, erase all trails leading to that data and store it in a external hard drive this is safe but the physical constraints of a hard drive mean that you could lose it all if anything happens to the hard drive.

The simplest key management method is to store them on files on your own local device: your computer, your phone, or other types of gadgets you carry, own or control. This is good for convenience: there is a smartphone app that can be pushed down with a few buttons, which is hard to beat.

the best way to store bitcoin is to use bitcoin core wallet. I think it's very safe and keep private access in a safe place. And never tell anyone about it. So far I have never tried using it I prefer to use blockchain only. And that's pretty safe to me

Hi guys
I know this might sound like a newbie question, but Ive not had enough bitcoin to think about putting any in cold storage since Cryptsy ripped me off when they went down Sad
But just lately ive built myself back up a bit, and just need to check my understanding of a creating a cold wallet is correct ? This is what I think was the best way but im not sure Huh

1. Download latest BTC client
2. move to a pc not connected to the internet.
3. Create an address on that PC without internet.
4. Send fund to address created on PC with no internet access.
5. Save keys in safe place Smiley

Also I was wondering if there are any 100% safe third party wallets that enable quick access if needed ?

Sorry if my question has been covered many times, but I just don't want to make a big mistake.

Thanks
Rick
The easiest and best way to store your bitcoin is through putting it on a secure wallet so that you assure your bitcoin is safe and secure. In addition to that, just use trust wallet like blockchain so that there will no problem on storing your bitcoin. Lastly, just keep your private key and password in a safe place.

Guys, it's really a shivering question which I believe that best way of keeping BTC is cold storage. Why? Because everything which concernes online data circulation cannot be 100% safe due to the every day new malicious apps you may miss and have your money earned by sweat of your brow to be stolen away. In otherwise case (cold storage) this risk seems to be eliminated 99.9% cause your ewallet is kept without internet connection and may be used only when you reach it for your transactions. Hardware wallets guarantee the safety the most. I'd recommend you to use well-known mentioned many times here Trezor and Ledger Nano S. One friend of mine use it for 2 years, no prhttp://oblems. I'm gonna to use it as well when my account of BTC is refilled enough Smiley

in fact, there are a lot of opportunities. When choosing a service, factors such as ease of use, security system, the ability to quickly obtain coins, as well as round the clock access are taken into account. The most reliable way I consider the storage of your coins either on portable devices or on paper carriers. the main thing is not to lose data.

I would also like to note about local wallets - this is also one of the safest methods for cold storage of crypto-currencies, which is recommended to most users. If the link to download the purse is on the official website of any trusted coin, then such a service can be trusted. Also, do not forget about the security of your computer, since installing a local purse requires a large amount of free space on your hard drive.

The best way to keep your bitcoin safe is to have safe wallet as well. Safe wallet means, when opening your wallet, you must be vigilant in using any gadgets of rental computers because as we know, hackers are very much knowledgeable in leaving apps in various units, then any one who would use the computers with out any precautions could be a victim. So we must be careful in using computers from public internet shops.

There are lots of ways to store your Bitcoins but one thing that you must emphasize is on the security of your coins, security in d sense that giving priority at all the time to safeguard ur coin. we all have preferences when it comes to the choice of wallet we use. some will settle for web based  MEW because of the rapid transaction speed and efficiency and some settle for IMTOKEN, METAMASK and d likes but for the sake of proper security, I encourage my calleagues to settle for Hardware wallets which are not as prone to hacking as Web base wallets. They store your crypto offline making it impossible for a stranger to access it. My view

Bitcoin is part of the innovation of technology therefore it is part of the internet that is use to connect people. As a communication student, we are introduced to the definition and familiarity of internet. Upto now, there is no secured place in the internet and bitcoin is not include in it

I suggest that the best way to keep your bitcoin safe is to have a safe wallet. That means, when opening your wallet, people must be vigilant in using any gadgets of rental computers because we are using our personal password and as we know as of now, hackers are very much knowledgeable in leaving apps in various units. Hence, anyone who would use the computers without any precautions then those people could easily be one of the victim. So people must always keep in mind to be careful in using computers from public internet cafe or any gadgets.
