It says 1 per customer, even if using multiple email addresses.  How do you order multiple?
Most likely people are using different addresses, emails and/or using a VPN or something of the sort to change their IP in conjunction with different addresses and emails to bypass the 1 per customer limit.

On the topic of coupons, are there actually coupons out there that are greater than 50% of the value of the Z9? I’ve only seen the $400 coupons around here and no amounts greater than $400.

I doubt that there is anything close to 50% of Z9, but I do have number of 420 $ coupons. Those are the largest I have heard of (and signal purchase of way too expensive miners early this year Cheesy).

Edit: Here is a link to my coupon sales thread if anyone is interested: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3513251.0

My opinion is Say No to ASIC and make a hardfork ASAP.

1. Any cryptocurrency, once accept ASIC, will lose the ability to change algo forever. I don’t trust Bitmain. Don’t make Bitmain control the ZEC hash power. Anybody really think they do care for ZEC or any other coin for that matter?

2. Bitmain definately have been hidden ASIC mining ZEC as of now. They always hidden mine a coin , sell that coin, use the money to make more asic, then they sell asic. they eat all.

3. Look at Monero(XMR) and SIA (SC).
    - XMR kicked out 60-70% hidden hashpower.
    - SC is a new ASIC coin
  • XMR History High: $494.  Today: $250 (50.6% of history high)
  • SC History High: $0.097. Today: $0.0284 (29.2% of history high)
  • ZEC History High: $876.  Today: $310 (35.4% of history high)

4. Point to Ponder: How many hidden ZEC ASIC now? How many ZEC did they sell everyday?

Almost everybody into GPU mining saw this crap coming.

Considering Zcash Devs already declared that they won't give a shit, just another coin fell into the hands of shitmain. R.I.P. Zcash.

Bitmain has learnd its mistakes before for damaging global hashrate of some coins. The current Bitmain only release low speed ASIC and only one per customer outside China and Hong Kong which is good. The miner Z9 only worth 14 of 1080 TI or you can say Antminer Z9 x1 = one Rig of 1080 OC x12 which have the same speed around 10kh. Current Equihash global hashrate around 800mh so even if Bitmain release 10.000 Z9, it will only worth 100mh and thats only 12.5% increased difficulty IF its really 10.000 miner. Usually they only release <5k per batch so total around 6.25% increased difficulty. The next batch usually just around a month with the same amount should just increase difficulty by 5% or so.

I guess Bitmain try to use "soft approch" for the coins so it can accept ASIC and killing GPU sales. Just a remainder, it works with E3 that only have RX580 x6 speed and ETH accept it.

The real question is, should we start selling our 1070s now before these ASICs lower their profit?

maybe real devs will follow the monero's plan, a new asic for the algo i use? easy, fork to change the algo, guys remember we need true decentralization on this world, if not, satoshi create btc only to see how we (dumb humans) destroy a whole new freedom way to a new economic system. i mean, we love money, but do we want to be at the same state like banks make us belive we own our money? because thats what theyr trying to do, centralize the hashpower like they centralize all the actual economic system. fuck bitmain and asics.

How is selling these to the public going to centralize the hashing power? Serious question.

Also, didnt ZEC devs say they dont care if there are ASICs ?

I don't feel like forking Equihash-based projects is that difficult... just change the input (n,k) parameters... there are already several projects that have done so. Just follow their lead devs, if you don't understand or care to understand the underlying POW algo yourselves.

Selling these to the public isnt going to centralize the hasing power. But selling for example 100pcs and holding 1000pcs in their own warehouse is for sure centralizing the hashing power. If you dont think Bitmain would do these then you really have no clue. Who wouldnt?

So far ZEC devs havent said anyhting to the upcoming asics. If yes give me the source.

The last post from dev side is that thread from february

This is more of an ASIC than the ETH asic they released last month.

My 280X used like 200 Watts and hashed at 300Hs. My RX 470 used like 150 Watts and hashed at 275Hs.

So 300Watts for 10Khs is very impressive. Basically this is bad for most high end Nvidia GPUs since they were kind of Equihash mining.

Thats true. Compared to the last ETH Asic to double the hashrate they would have to produce 1.000.000 Asics. And holding 1.000.000 would cost them 800Megawatts i would say its quite impossible to produce 1.000.000 pcs and also imposible to hold them by theirselfs. But for sure Bitmain holding by their own stronger ETH Asics as well and mining in silence. Thats out of discussion.
