I would suggest you to diversify your money into two parts, buy some good altcoins like etc, eth and hold them for a long period of time and invest some money in a good ico after checking properly there back-end team and there activity log.

As good as investing in ICOs is are the higher Risk level they are carrying. No short cut to ICO better than personal and convincing research and from those that had earlier on participating in such ICOs. Better still as you have said, BTC is good to invest in as the most reliable mother coin but it just have to be a long term effect before one can acquire good ROI on it except for occasional inevitable hype periods based on its strong volatility. so does this applicable to the few Alts mentioned, but these can still be reaped luckily on a short term basis. However, if you must invest in any predicted ICOs, don't bite more than what you can chew, ie; never invest more than what you can not afford to loose.

With the massive increase in companies that have adapted to this new technology blockchain to improve their operations or accept and negotiate with crypto-coins, prices of crypto-coins have increased immensely. Bitcoin literally touched the cloud, and raised several crypts, which also increased the appearance of new ICOs.
They are like having dollars around the world, ease and lower currency conversion rates, lower transaction costs compared to bank accounts. They are not only convenient and comfortable, but also easy to operate and manage. No matter what kind of investment you make since it's in cryptos and well studied it will succeed

You should diversify your investment portfolio risks and invest in all categories (BTC, Altcoins and ICO). Depending on the risks you are willing to take, adjust the percentage of investment in each type of category accordingly. To choose an ICO project, always do your research first.

The safest option is to invest in btc or eth.  Investing in ICO is very risky.  It is better to invest in coins.
But remember that investing in btc, eth isn't always profitable. Course can go down after you invest it. So don't forget to analyze market.

You should invest in both bitcoin and some altcoins. It is necessary to compose a competent investment portfolio
In my opinion, it is better to go for investing your money into bitcoin rather than that of investing in either altcoins or in any of the ICO project. It is because of the reason that bitcoin is actually a very good coin and that it has a high demand in the international market and above all, its market value keeps rising high most of the time. this will no doubt help you in making of a very good earning.

My suggestion would be to spread your investment.  There are some altcoins that are performing good.  ICOs will give you a huge profit based on experience although they are very risky and are for long term investment.

If you want to look at the coin by yourself and detect the right coin for investment- you have to review a lot of material which is related to this topic. And, without experience you will not get anything in here, our mistakes- all our own.

Your first investement in crypto world should always be bitcoin...then after some experience you should move on to some famous alts like ethereum and litecoin..learn and take experience...investing in ICO's is risky and only for experts
I do not know why newbies want to skip those steps, they do not want to invest in bitcoin because it is very expensive and it cannot grow as fast as new altcoins and I understand that, but to try to accelerate the process in which you convert yourself from a newbie to a good investor is a huge mistake that they are going to pay with almost all their capital if they are not careful.

The safest option is to invest in BTC or ETH.  If you want to quickly get a good profit, you can invest in ICO, but it's very risky.

The investment in BTC, Altcoins or ICO depends on your personal preferences as well as the amount of money you have. But my advice is that you should invest in ICO because the current form of investment is risky but the profit is substantial, the opportunity x10, x20 even x50 money invested If you choose your own potential ICO campaign.

obviously first choice of the people to invest of course bitcoin we should knows investing in bitcoin are huge profits if the price going to bubble, altcpoins or ICO investment is a second choice and i also believe investing altcoins and ico are also a secret weapon as back investment, if the price of the altcoin and ico become increasing in the market successful.

There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
I think the best option is to invest in eth.  For me, this is the safest investment coin.  And the price of eth is growing every day.

Is actually all likely to give you profit but before that must do the analysis as best as possible and have estimated the most likely worst,of the three, ico most at risk because they have to play with the new token that his own future can not be predicted accurately.

I do not like to invest in ICO or even new alt coins. In my opinion, you should only pick from top 10-20 coins based on market cap.

I think if you want to hold for a long term, you had better choose btc or eth. But if you have enough time to do the trade, you can also buy in some icos.

Investing in bitcoin or altcoin I think is safer compared to ICO investments. However, if you choose exactly ICO investments, you can earn higher profits. Therefore, an accurate analysis of decision making is required.

more and more ICO's are springing up, I think I should be cautious about investing in ICO because many ICO's are scam. I think investing in ICO is very profitable because of getting bonuses but be careful in choosing ICO, to choose a good ICO you have to look at some factors, whether their teams are genuine and not fake, are included in the ICO rating, see their roadmap and whitepaper and if they have a bounty program then you should see who is their manager.

You should invest to ALT like Ethereum. Because if you have check the market history for this year. You will probably see that Ethereum growth was more than 100% from the month of April to May.
