Until the market picks up, ICOs are not a good place to invest now.
This whole year, since the market has declined and crashed, there have been very very few successful icos.
I would say even go as high to say that 95% of them have crashed below their ico prices after going to exchanges.

This doesn't mean that ICOs suck, it just means the market conditions are not good for them.
There are plenty of amazing projects out there like daostack and neon exchange.

So, if you want to go the ICO route, I would do your due dilligence like you normally would.
And after you decide on one you want to invest in, just wait.

Wait until it gets released to an exchange and you will be able to buy in at a cheaper price than the ico.
It's way smarter than jumping in during and ico no matter how attractive the bonuses look.

It depends on you if you want longterm investment or short term. If you want longterm bitcoin is best option but if you want short term I would suggest altcoins. If you want a higher return I would suggest ICO but before investing in ICO study first the project

Finding good ICOs are very difficult. There are so many factors to look before investing on an ico. Such as team, idea, token metrics,real world usecase, soft cap and hardcap... But a god ico can give you extra ordinary profit like 100x

Although Bitcoin is the most expensive cryptocurrency, in most cases it is much more profitable to trade with altcoins. And here the best choice is to keep in your wallet at least 8-10 alts to make operations with all of them when the right time for each one comes. This is my opinion.

I think that now it is possible to invest in altcoins if they are at low levels. It is still profitable to invest in ICO.

For me its better to invest in BTC because much profitable and secure, so surely you can making profits. And also in BTC once you invest to it, you will never feel any scared or afraid of losing money because like what i said above its very secure even its expensive its really worth it because you will get double amount. Altcoin is also good to invest but only few of them because some of them are cannot trusted. While in ICO is difficult to find a good one, thats why some of them are now scam ICO, so its better to trust to those your investment is secure.
