investing in a new out coin is very risky but if the project is successful the profit is very tempting. If to invest cheaply and the price can be hundreds of percent, can choose a new coin ICO (but with high risk).
If for long term investment and trading I recommend Bitcoin / Altcoin.

Probably the best way, if you of course can afford that, will be to invest in three of those areas in small parts. You will have benefit from every sphere of that things.

There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
At the moment, not the best time to invest in ICO projects, but as long as the prices in the market have not gone up, you can buy some coins. I would advise you to distribute your investment capital to bitcoin and some altcoins in order to diversify the risks.

With the coming quantum technologies, the current market must experience many changes. To be more exact, many coins will leave the market, as there will simply be no demand for them, due to the same technological superiority. Without certain experience, Trading and Hodling are risky. The most acceptable method of investing at the moment is ICO. For a more successful contribution, you need to carefully analyze the project. Identify is necessary for the market side. For example, the Kelvin Blockchain project has an innovative method of encryption, transmission, storage, and security. All this is based on quantum computing. Thus becoming in demand in the future.
Kelvin Blockchain project itself is flexible to implementing cryptographic algorithms which will make it one of the safest blockchains ever existed with 10+ signature available from the start. This project does not rely on any particular signature algorithm and due to the multi-client use - on some single consensus. In case of any problems, it is possible to quickly locate the threat and prevent it’s distribution throughout the system. Multiple blockchains with different consensus algorithms, token types, and assignments will be available. The multichain technology allows creating almost an unlimited potential for speed and productivity. Kelvin Blockchain can launch up to 2^64 subchains - more available subchains will benefit in increased speed and security. Moreover, all the blockchains will be processed in one wallet so that the client could have fast transactions, secure investments and cheap smart contracts as well as a lot of other services at his hand.

Investing in BTC will give you a good benefit and altcsoin's investing will bring a large income in future as well. So I think that ICO are not so profitable here.

Maybe so, but you do understand that the market is not very predictable, maybe anything, and today the market rises in price, but very quickly it can simply fall. Only experienced traders understand what's the matter.

I think investing in ICO is too risky now when it's not regulated properly and there are a lot of scam ICOs. So I prefer Bitcoin and altcoins such as NEO, EOS, ETH, XPR, i.e. top altcoins with good potential.

  • Consider investing in BTC as investment in gold - profitable in long term.
  • Situation with altcoins is more complicated: pick few (at least 3) which can boom. The technology behind it is really important, for example I really like Cardano and EOS - both present great platforms for awesome development opportunities in perspective so when time comes it may bring decent profits.
  • ICO is the most risky type of crypto investment (comparable with gambling), but it may bring huge profits in short term. But it's really hard to pick right ICO in right time (the erlier - the better) which won't scam it's investors at least until it comes to big markets.

If you're up for investing in any ICO, you should verify the project first and not make any sudden choices based on hype. Many ICOs are scams, so to be on the safe side, I'd choose investing in BTC or altcoins.

Yes, at the moment there are too many new coins, and perhaps we do not have enough time to study all the projects. Perhaps, if there are names behind them that are known in the IT world, I think that the coin should be considered.

If you are in tether now, I think you can wait, if btc drops can buy and then wait again. When you think altcoins can rise after then you can invest to altcoins partly.

I'd never relied on the opinion of forum fellows about such an important thing)) if you still want an opinion, I'd rather minified risks and buy some tokens, and some alts. If you have a bigger amount, some Btc for hodl is okay as well.

If you carefully select ICO and really choose a good project - you can earn much more money than when investing in BTC and existing altcoins. But the risks are much greater.

I personally believe that Bitcoin is the most stable and promising cryptocurrency. Its wise to diversify your portfolio but ensuring that you have more Bitcoin is the key to a viable investment. You can include ethereum, Neo and Bitcoin cash. Going for low value altcoin with sound projects such as tron is wise. But in every of your investments, carrying out a due diligence and research cannot be overemphasised.

Now it is the best time to invest in Bitcoin. You can still diversify and put your money in altcoins, but now is the great chance to make profit off of Bitcoin before its price is around 20K as they predicted.

If this is first time for you in investing, then i just suggest you to do  invest. Every part of invest has its risk, bitcoin has the lowest risk but it for long term investment. ICO has the highest risk, also no one can guarantee that the price will reach higher than ICO price. But research is must. If you like, i have a suggestion for you, check it out scidex.

Personally, I'd chose to invest on bitcoin in the first place, overall, you can simply compare the long term growth that is has experienced in the last months, with it's ups and downs but overall there's a growth in it, altcoins on the other hand look really stagnant and slow to get some profits, ICO are good but there's alot of scams nowadays so I'd rather stay away from them.
