'Crazy' Wednesday freeroll returns with Pineapple Poker!

For the first time in 2015, and after a 2-week holiday break, the popular 'Crazy' Wednesday Freerolls are back tonight! The 'Crazy' Wednesday is a freeroll where we will, from time to time, try new and different tournament formats and poker variants. If you are open for new poker experiences, then this is for you!

'Crazy' Pineapple is very similar to Texas Hold'em Poker with the exception that you're dealt 3 cards instead of 2 hole cards. You then have to discard 1 after betting on the flop. Registration starts at 8p ET/ 5p PT.

Tournament starts at 10p ET/ 7p PT and features a prize pool of 200mBTC!

How much is the expected down time? Can't you just let it run till the time you guys get the update, and just push the code once the update is available ?

It's not expected to be a long down time.

The updates are mainly on the back end, but there will be some minor changes on the front end too. We'll make an announcement later about those.

Everything is back up and running, thanks for your patience!

Among the improvements players will now notice, the Dealer Button has been randomized for new hands!

While most of the update focused on back-end improvements, we've also solved issues that had caused some tournaments to freeze and crash (like this week's Crazy Wednesday Freeroll).

It shows up in the balance immediately, but to play poker you have to wait for 1 confirmation.
You can do sports betting immediately.

Sorry for the delayed response. The previous responses you received are both correct.

For the sportsbook you don't need any confirmations. For poker there needs to be a confirmation, which due to Blockchain can take some time.

Yes but I was greedy and bet the moneyline I thought they had lost as soon as they kicked the field goal, Brady was always going to go down the field, whereas actually it was the big trick play that made the difference.
