I am setting my 2 antminers at a location I lease, I don't have control over the building's internet or router, and building's internet wants to be on IP 10.3.3x.xxx
I couldn't figure out how to get my antminers working until I changed the protocol of the WAN to DHCP (without saving)
going back to the interface tab, and restarting the WAN, I was immediately kicked off the direct IP 192.168.1.99 without any access to the antminers, but they started hashing at the pool.
Fortunately I can restore access by power down/power up the ants, which returns the WAN to static IP. In order to get them hashing again, I need to redo the WAN change above.

You have a working formula so I'd just stick with it. Unlike Avalons, you don't really ever have to check in with the AntMiners as theres no stock overclocking or voltage/fan tweaking.

use an IP sweeper to find the ant miner, then set the IP to static Question, I had issues with the ant miner and slushes pool, it looked like it was mining, but never got any shares... so i quickly switched over to eligius...
I actually direct my to Ghash.io Something weird happened at Slush's, it used to be so good. Now I only recommend it for those using stratum proxies (for simplicity). weird at slush's pool or with the proxy?

Has anybody been able to successfully set these up to solo mine alt coins? I've searched these forums, but must have missed it.

Thats not really a miner specific thing, should be like any other.

Aside from the cgminer version change, any other improvements or changes? Also, when you update the firmware does it lose any of your settings?

So if the new firmware targets a lower temp, does it make the fans run louder?

The firmware target the same temperature option target '60' option overheat '70' It is the hardware fan controller that is different

PIC32MX250.hex and antMiner_openwrt20140207.bin . Is it enough flashing antMiner_openwrt20140207.bin ? What is the purpose of PIC32MX250.hex and how/when do you flash it?
Does the cgminer miner included finally support bfgminer proxying ?

Just flash the antMiner_openwrt20140207.bin The PIX32 is for the microcontroller.

Love my ants but the noise is going to piss my gf off, can anyone recommend any slightly quieter fans? Will any 4 pin silent 12cm fan work? Maybe if I put one on each end?
