I agree with the OP, it will take a few years but smart money is now being invested and that means more volume and more interest. I hope that they diversify and not just plough money into bitcoin. A healthy market is one of diversity and stability and hopefully less pump and dump

I think so you had over-estimated the ability of cryptocurrencies. I mean cryptos becoming mainstream option? Isn’t it too soon? The crypto market has to face many challenges and pass many hurdles put forth by the governments before becoming mainstream payment option. Also I think it is very difficult to replace fiat. Cryptos can get some adoption but along with fiat. It’s very tough for it to come in the mainstream. We won't be able to go mainstream with cryptocurrencies until governments come with their own cryptos.

I think that cryptocurrency will displaced fiat currency in time 10-20 years. Banks and old financycal sistem will resist, maybe there will be a world war.

While I like the idea of diversity in any business or market, at the same time we cannot ask for a greater diversity in this market when so many of the coins are not really good, there are many projects that are worth your investment but those projects are outnumbered 10 to one or even 20 to one, so most of the money is concentrated in just a few coins.

The wrong way if only hodl bitcoin as long as you are able to hodl, bitcoin prices are largely determined by speculation and moreover if anything is going to decide to ban and not use bitcoin prices go down drastically. Mainstream will not affect them the FUD spreaders to stop, but they will use a stronger FUD to harm the users. Sell cryptocurrency that we have if it has reached a high price, and buy back if the price of cryptocurrency is crashing.

I agree, crypto is expected to go mainstream in upcoming years. It's something new, better thatn the system that were before and still relatively unknown to majority of the people.

Crypto currency will enter our life, but not so quickly. as many believe. The agiotage over the growth of bitcoin cost will soon pass and this process will slow down a little, however it will be more qualitative. Over the next few years, the Crypto-currency will not be the main currency of any country or countries. Decentralized crypto currency with its high volatility can not be the main currency at all because of the lack of stability in its price. Reflections on this subject is a utopia.
