1) LiteCoin (bit outdated, but solid)
2) Quark (very interesting contender, "feels" solid - time will tell)
3) PeerCoin (solid)
4) StableCoin (solid)

Seems quite reasonable.

chinese exchanges dont have quarkcoin listed yet, and taking into account that it went to fifth place on market cap without their involvment. we can safely assume that quark will be rising faster than any other coin once chinese get their chance to molest it while the price is only at $0.2. there are rumors that btce and btc38 are to implement it very soon.

This would be an interesting development for sure!

Makes me wonder if there will be a Chinese coin which could take the #2 coin spot in a very short time.

Peercoin, followed closely by Litecoin and Primecoin, though Gridcoin and Curecoin might grow sharply on the back of those who want to contribute their processing power to more noble and altruistic purposes instead of just chasing speculative wealth.

I predict a lot of alts will start to die off next year and people will start to consolidate their holdings into fewer coins with meaningful and more original design purposes (i.e. Gridcoin with the use of BOINC and Curecoin with folding@home).
