If you think that cryptocurrency would be last forever, I would like to say no. Cryptocurrency can be dead after it will be left by the people, so the value would be zero like the nowadays coin.
but I think cryptocurrency will not die before it is actually used in human life. like the barter trading system by exchanging one item to get the other item. after people get to know gold, they do transactions using gold instead of exchanging their goods. gold was then replaced with fiat money. and with economic and technological growth there is now cryptocurrency.
