I'll tell what is happening with other coins, jealousy of doge, there are groups with thousands of btc that do not like doge and want to fund other coins, but we have wolong and this great community that is born of generosity and fun, not competition and hate.
If you want to understand what i'm saying just visit http://trollboxarchive.com/search.php?search_type=all&search=doge

Doge orbiter should be approaching moon vector, preparing to drop rover. [edit: lawl rover is a dog's name.]

HELP im updating wallet to 1.4.1 but now i open and say EXCEPTION: 11dbException Db::get:Not enough space

19 gb space abailable

what can i do¿¿

S.O.S
Dont know, keep waiting, more people have this issue. Solution will be found soon.

thanks dewdeded, have a bag of doges in ^^

I am not liable if anything goes wrong, but this worked for me on Windows:
BACK UP YOUR WALLET.DAT FILE (to be extra safe I used the backup in the client, AND copy/pasted the wallet.dat into a different folder).

Close the DogeCoin wallet

Navigate to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin and delete:
blk0001.bat
blkindex.bat

Restart the client. It should start syncing and since you just deleted the blockchain files it will take quite a while to catch up.

If it works and you feel like donating my address is in my sig! Wink

What happened to http://doge.scryptpools.com/ ?

I mined a load of Dogecoin on that pool a good while back, but looks like the site has closed down? Is there anyway to get the coins I had on the site back?

The asshole running the pool vanished with all of our DOGE. There are a few people putting together a lawsuit, others trying to find out who he is, etc. Use the search for the pool address to find the threads.

I am not expecting that til July. That will put Doge at half the market cap of LTC. We have to wait for the snot-noses to go on summer break. It will be a huge boost like it was over winter break.

Take your doge profits and buy lottocoin. We are shooting up like a rocket following doge's rise. Come profit twice.
https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/137
Going from 40 to 50 is a bigger gain than going from 235 to 245 and we don't have big ass 100 BTC sell walls in our way. Just saying Smiley
Leo,
the issue here is diversity. Especially as to how it's applied to one brand of altcoin.
AORN, Lottocoin is tied to Cryptsy. Exclusively.
Even b4 u showed up, Dogecoin traders bitched about Cryptsy.
Get your Lottocoin on other trading sites.
[I personally use Vircurex. And Coinbase and Blockchain instead of Gox for my BTC's.]

Gain don't mean shit if you're pouring money down a fucking rathole and
keeping your fingers crossed that gain hits.

You have  --scrypt  twice??

1. You have scrypt twice in your command line like the previous poster mentioned.
2. Take "kernel" : "scrypt", out of our cgminer.conf. You don't need that line if you call cgminer with the --scrypt argument.

are you solo mining?
there should be only one "--scrypt"
if you are solomining, then check your port number. if the ports in you dogecoin.conf file matches then, you wouldn't have started the qt client with the -server flag

I just wanted to get the solo mining to work efficiently before getting on to a pool...

What should the port numbers be?  Should the RPC port number in the /appdata/../dogecoin match the cgminer.conf port AND the port in the command line?  I'm so confused...

So I cleared up the --scrypt, but I'm still not connecting to my local.  Should I be running the dogecoin client as well?   This is what I get now...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Cgminer>cgminer.exe --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8144 -I
 17 -w 256 -o http://127.0.0.1:9332 -u **** -p **** -T
