Can someone explain a bit more detailed why would we see interesting price change when the block reward halves ?

Miners will provide less DOGECOINS to the market while demand will stay the same. Less doges. More prices

I am of the opinion that block reward halving anticipation is being built into the price right now.
Chineese pumped quite a lot of money into dogecoins.

I have halved rewards right now because difficulty is hell high. Btw why people crying if someone dump coins? just buy it and be happy for chance to be mega-rich. But you want to dump too at higher price, so every dumper who do it faster than you will cut your chances to dump for better price..

Did someone take a look at http://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-dogecoin-addresses.html Huh

I really think because of the size of buy/sell walls (50-80 BTC) that some big fish are playing on the market.

Just look at the 100th richest address, for some, you see big output for the last 2 days.

Do you people, really think that the price is made by a lot of little guys ?

I don't think so, and really believe that big miners/investers, where selling get a return of investment when it was "the good time".

I encourage people to donate as much as 5% of doge holdings to light wallet project.
The purpose of it is that our wallets become lightweight, with no need to sync whole blockchain.
The reddit thread is here. This, i believe, would give us much revenue, comparable to jamaican bobsleigh team project .
The contest to deliver best wallet is here. The pot is about 3,2kk now - as my IT experience tells me - not soo much for the job even if the resulting wallet will be ported, not written from the scratch for us.
http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1upa5y/bounty_15_million_doge_for_the_first_person_to/
Let's make 10-20 times the pot and we will surelly get good usable piece of software to be proud of.
We will all benefit from it and introduce some technology to our currency. our doge needs to build some platform.

You have been earning coin, there have been a number of blocks hit over last few hours and its being updated, there were cron stuck, and admin is working on retroactive payouts.....  payouts are being adjusted now......  shares are still being counted.....

anyone else suffers from uncreadited bought doges  on cryptsy Huh?  its been 2 hours its so frustrating .....

Yeah cost me 2 hours to figure it all out.
I sold doge
I sold lot
and I bought eac.

I had a lot of transactions but thought i was missing coins.
I calculated all my transaction histories and this is the result;

what am I missing in my account

814997 eac
2693009 doge
0.65 btc

I just send them a long mail with all transaction histories and calculation, really frustrating these things.

It has been around 1 hour and my DOGE bought in Cryptsy still haven't been credited to my account... Angry Angry

I know this thread goes fast but read a few pages back before making moves! There are warnings against crapsy everywhere! We have all been screwed.

USE Bter in my sig.

I just heard(I don't know much) that BTER has withdrawal problems before...its now working well? If yes I would consider to move...

Nice ad , buddy, but bter sucks a lot more, I had problems without a limit there.

There are no doge pools with a 10 minute block time........   it's random, some pools can hit 2 blocks in 10 minutes and then not hit another one for 8 hours......  but no pools hit doge blocks consistently every 10 min.

Can someone explain me why my calculations are stupid and doesn't match the reality?

GHS/BTC

Today, to gain 1 DOGE we need 0,0006 second 100 GH/s power. We all know that 1 scrypt kH/s is ~1 MH/s in SHA-256.

That's 1 666,(6) DEGE per second

1 MH/s scrypt = 1 GH/s in SHA-256
1 GH/s scrypt = 1 TH/s SHA-256
100GH/s scrypt = 100 TH/s SHA-256

1 GH/s is worth @ cex.io 0.04369998BTC ==> 1 TH/s is worth 43.69998 BTC

100 TH/s are worth 4369.998BTC

@ this moment average block reward is 498 101

Till #100 000 block ~50 000 000 000 DOGES will be mined.

50 000 000 000 DOGES are worth 4369.998BTC

1 DOGE is worth... 0.0000008739BTC Huh Sad Huh

You cant mine scrypt with asic miners... So you cannot take cex as a reference...
