DOGESLED stratum+tcp://http://dogesled.com:22550 -u [DOGECOINADDRESS] -p anything Hello everyone, this is not my node but I have been on it for the past few days with great success. Would like to see a few more miners of course though! Pros- No transaction fees
- Low Mining Fees
- No Registration
- More Doge / Khash
- DDOS Resistant
- Pools Cannot be conned by pool owners (Since they don’t touch any of the Doge)
- Pools cannot be hacked (Since there is no running balance in any pool wallet)
- PPLNS so that pool-jumpers will pay the price to jump in when the price rises and loyal miners get the benefits
- It CANNOT perform a 51% attack on the system since it is decentralized
Cons- Smaller mining rigs (<200Khash total) operate less efficiently since the payout is smaller
- Payout is not very consistent, (3-4 hours apart sometimes)
- Just like any other pool, the more miners, the better it works.
- Connecting to a node requires you copying your DogeCoin address
If you do not live in the midwest, check out http://p2pool.jir.dk/dogecoin/ to find a list of close P2Pool servers and then ping them from the CMD promt to see which has the best ping to you. HOW TO CONNECTReplace your current pool infor with something similar. For cgminer, it might look like this: cgminer.exe -–scrypt -o stratum+tcp://dogesled.com:22550 -u [DOGECOINADDRESS] -p yes (doesn't matter) Just make sure your username is your Doge Wallet Address, and you are set to mine! Also, if you have troubles with reject rates try this: Add the +0.0000xxxxx number to the end of your doge coin address like so -u DOGECOINADDRESS+0.00000116
Hash Rate (KHash/s) Difficulty 1 +0.00000116 5 +0.00000582 10 +0.00001164 50 +0.00005821 100 +0.00011641 250 +0.00029103 500 +0.00058207 750 +0.00087310 1000 +0.00116414
for better performance use your hash rate in kH * 0.00000116414 If you have any questions please ask!

i heard wikileaks already use BTC to move funds. now, they should use DOGE. it'll be easier for the smaller denomination even if we get to 1$/DOGE

Also, I would rather pay 1% and have a stable pool that gets results and can't be hacked. Not spam, when people need the info

Do hope the sled has custom logo... DOGESLED I hope so too; however, the IOC/Olympics require any ads at the olympics to be official sponsors only. If someone doesn't pay massive amounts of money to the IOC for their logo to be featured, they consider it 'parasitic marketing' or 'ambush marketing' and will ban it. so for the IOC, "cocacola"+"Visa" yes, but "dogecoin" fuck no.

Some dogepool have been hacked apparently ?
this appears to be a widespread problem with pools all over, regardless of coin, multipool.us is also down & the other pools I use are in lockdown over an MPOS bug, what is dis madness!

Hey everyone. First post. I have to admit I was in the bitcoin game much earlier but was busy with work. I'm glad to come back to it finding out my electric bills spent on mining paid off enough to pay off the lease of my car. All this new fuss about doge got me super excited again about crypto currencies, nice to see some diversity and competition. Anyway I was never lucky enough to get into the ASIC craze a while back and looks to be near impossible to get a hand on one. luckly I still got my nifty Radeon 5850. I'm getting an average of 17Khs. mining Bitcoins I used to hash around 256m. seems a bit low comaring the two. Just concerned, wonder if i'm missing out on something. Thanks a bunch. doge: DTjvCsi8nwDT8LE1uDyx46Qt6JtMep4vmw bitcoin: 1NrKxH8k3HVjb3twZCgVFPK7RtwsoTD45S
