It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

This wallet is actually slower than bitcoin. It's taking me like 3 days to download the blockchain with 8 connections.
I just restarted with 16 connections to see if that helps.

Hopefully someone will claim this from the Dogecoin Foundation soon:

"Light Wallet (External)

Design a light wallet similar to BitCoin's equivalent "Electrum" that solves the problem of users needing to download the entire and ever growing blockchain.

See the reddit post for more details.

Current bounty: 1,292,403 DOGE
Donation Address: DMxCwo7qJphRVeC6pHcoDHaizk55pg6iNt

Please note that this is an external wallet address and is not managed by the Dogecoin Foundation."

Yeah consider how huge the doge chain is compared to most coins. Takes a long time to bring it up from scratch...

With that said, bitcoin does seem to be a bit faster with its database updates

Yeah that's how I found Electrum back in the day. The wait was too long.

TRy coinmarket.io, such uber fast transactions, wow much love

Don't recommend this there is no volume. Push crappy exchanges on shit coin forums.
