What is TA?

I suggest not to pay too much attention to the charts. it's just pump & dump. it may spike up, and it may spike down. the volume has lost over 50% in the last days on cryptsy. it just looks like no "regular" ppl want to buy at those prices. so we might have small 10-15satoshi windows to trade with. but it may also be, that the big guys dump soon, to cash out, because the market is too slow atm.

A bigger problem is, yes, that this is a unregulated market, which means that whales (could) manipulate the price very fast and quick, but nevertheless Ive found out that TA's is very applicable in cryptos. Ive been doing this for bitcoin, with much succeed and for the past days for doge, and mostly the TA's correspons to the charts. I think many whales uses TA's (doh!), but then there's those greedy bastards that dump and pump for quick dollars. Not really good for the market.

And we just rocketed past 190. wonder where this will leave us.  Grin Cheesy

Technical Analysis? Hmm I didn't think it would work for an unregulated market where coins are still being actively mined and dumped. Wouldn't that be a huge stumbling block in any forecasting activities?

It doesn't.
Most people that have done trading based on TA have lost lots of money lately.
You can't predict a 10% dump based on some bad news from Russia or a avalanche of buy orders after a company adopting cryptos.

I just sent the Reddit threads to The Province newspaper. They have a big indian community in Vancouver that will be thrilled by this news once they hear about it.

Wow, what a dick. I'm watching a 72 btc sell order keep lowering it's value to drive down the market.

Edit: Now 80-102 btc sell order at 183.... Looks like a whale(or whales) trying to manipulate the market to drive down prices.

It's market manipulation by probably that asshole Wolong and his gang.

Yup but little fishies get eaten, Just took me this long to catch up on the thread and noticed you already warned. Good job. Smiley

funny I keep up and have nothing to trade, Lol I just love this coin and community. Cheesy

I sold 4k@183 traded EAC for it. Only thing I can mine with 400kh/s. Cheesy

Hi this is my first post and I want to share with you some interesting findings as I was browsing the DOGE explorer.

http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DLf7gEHNnvpEex3fCz8oipXPDQnmdFTPmH

First I think this is solo mining earnings and with this earnings it seems it intelligently avoid the capture of actual network hashrate.  At the current 60GH/s, this single address is having at least 4 Billion in 6 days and potential is more than 120m DOGE daily.  To earn this 120m daily from about 720 million DOGE daily is 16% of network hashrate.

The peak increase to 90GH/s which is about 15GH/s or it could be scrypt ASIC in stealth operation.

http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/tx/5d69bb58dccc29562299a9c941149e8b37e81c4b929bc8c882923c23fc14f16a

Further discovery found that 60% of a single block income goes to this solo miner.  Each mining block reward is 500,000 but this single solo miners manages to get 70% of 357,345.94655711.

This makes all miners real returns from published mining rate of 30% only.  This means when you should mine and get 10,000 DOGE a day you will get only 3,000 and 70% goes to stealth ASIC miners.  This means there are ASIC scrypt secret mining farm with 70% hidden hashrate not detected by the network?

I do not think there is any DOGE pool with network 70% mining hashrate.

Other interesting findings in 2 hours single address can accumulate 400 million become 6th richest

http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DBpNLLEj13LWr14wm1YH24nuqAjodrjaLL

Tracing for 20 minutes the source is from 27 Jan Buy
http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/tx/b1e9c22d7a9107019b18a020765e9cb57fb1d1314926c863ee7b154071638e00

And this finally linked back to the movement of the so called WOLONG address 12th richest

http://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DHsqeNgKH5f6Jnch8b9w45ddRBHpGXSBuj

So now the top 100 richest having 40% of current DOGECOIN which is 120 Billion DOGECOIN instead of the insignificant 1.4 Billion.

Above calculations are my guess as most network hashrate are estimate and not realtime.

Interesting Read, I'll fact check it tomorrow if I have the time.

I'm interested, how much dogecoins do you guys own?

feel sorry for those who sold in the 160's

it will be back to the 190's in a few days
