Ditto. I tried both P2Pool servers(which are run by the same person it appears) and neither one has paid anything. Lost almost 100K on pool.hostv.pl after their crash today. Testserverino is great. Heavy load earlier and never a slowdown once. |

Completely clueless about these things, so I might as well ask:
How do I get my wallet to sync? I know it involves some sort of conf file, but I don't know how to work it.
(Note: on a Mac, if that makes a difference)
Reposting in case anyone can help. i am not familiar with mac, though I am gonna try to help you knowing that no one is willing to help you here. so far. you have a run dogecoin qt once. then close it. Now copy the dogecoin.conf info from the first thread here. And go to somewhere in users/app data and look for a folder called "dogecoin" there should be a folder called "database" a file called "wallet.dat". That is the correct folder if you found it. Now make a file here dogecoin.conf Paste all the dogecoin config from the first page into that dogecoin.conf file. Now run the dogecoin qt. And it will sync!. Also if it still not sync. thats why use p2pool...nobody...again...nobody will scam you
technically one could jack up the fee and change the code to hide it upon looking at /fee . i forgot which pool and coin actually managed to set the fee to 95% and scam the users. it was a long time ago. think I remember something during the early altcoin onslaught , probably junkcoin or chncoin It was ChinaCoin, the fee was 100%, and the scammer was carebear https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=195376.0 |
