Question for the programmers out there.  I'm working on a project to get ready for when.if Coinpayments adds Doge.  If I start the wallet like this,
Quote
H:\Dogecoin\dogecoin-qt-v13-Win\dogecoin-qt.exe  -testnet
will it really be on testnet?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Folks, please update your clients to v1.3 as soon as possible.

This will raise the transaction fees to 1 coin, generally. Sends under .01 coins will also no longer be recognized by the blockchain.

what is the best pool at the moment ?

IMO www.netcodepool.org, they had >3000 miners and 3000Mh/s of hash rate a week ago before they were DDoS attacked by competitors.
It's all good now, moved onto high end enterprise servers.

I advise www.suchcoins.com (used to be doge.webxass), which has always been very stable for me. Front-end is fast too. Front-end is only down occasionally - actually it is atm - for maintenance (which is a good thing in principle). Over 3 Ghz pool hashrate

How come the Author has negative trust?

Was wondering that too.

2 questions:

1) Anyone has positive experience with fast-pool again, after the downtime? Still mining at multipool now, would like to go back, but dont want to face more downtime.
2) Updating the wallet to 1.3: how can i make sure i wont lose any coins in my wallet while installing the newer version?

when reinstalling the wallet, do you have to delete the C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin folder as well?
