62 BTC Buy wall on Cryptsy at 57/56 Satoshi.
Someones buying big.
I think no mater what wall we setup NOW it will collapse just make some maths. All we now that many users are mnig for profit so guys like middlecoin ext... They mine a lot and they sell. I see that Difficulty has big variety. Net jumps from 20 GHs to 30 GHs. We are mining about ~500 000x60x24 Daily with current price 0,000 000 56 That gives value about ~400 BTC / day And there is only 25 BTC mined in 10mins... So in mid-long term don't expect BooM. Guys from multipools won't keep long their coins they pay daily income in BTC that mean price will fall no mater what we will do at this stage. Everyday is sold out about ~100M (Only on Cryptsy) that mean we need 54 BTC every day investments. While i am writing that wall is about 44 BTC  only. In short therm price would go down even about ~20-30 Statoshi we produce a way more that market can handle at this point  but in the future who knows... I think price will go up easy at low prices big investors will buy many coins then they can go and open some cools stuff new markets and social services DOGE have enourmus marketing pottencial this is Crypto on top it aims in young internet user but when that young people will grow up they will use allso Doge because they use to use it that is the best part. In long therm Doge from other crypt alts have enormous marketing potential people like read about it, people like joke from it people want see it succeed (maybe not other alts devs and owners). +1 to this a very good reason to why prices are going down I like low prices for a season. You can buy more coins! This is a great time for many people to buy cheap coins. Especially for those who don't have a lot of money to invest. The cheaper they go, the more you can buy, which leads to increased opportunity in the future. If you're looking for short term trading then maybe this not a good time to buy. But those who are dedicated to the long term success of this coin should be excited about buying cheap coins for next few months. A buyers market has the greatest potential to make the most profit. But only if the coin value goes up in the future. And the value will go up if a good foundation is built, developers & shopping sites continue to expand the usefulness of the coin, and online communities continue to spread awareness to new social groups. So market segmentation must also be expanded. In other words, it can't remain as an inside joke for a small group of people. It must continue to spread into new social groups all over the Internet and then we will see prices climb to record highs in the future. |

what is the advantage or purpose to spend so much doge coins to hold the price down for days and days at a time? to control enough dogecoin to initiate and control a pump-and-dump. dogecoin has been manipulated before, so there's no reason to think it isn't now. doge market cap can't prevent any number of whales from doing this. at least it will get dogecoin back in the news cycle. |

Difficulty adjusting algo can be changed to counter multi pools. Its called "anti multi pool patch" or "anti flash mining patch". Some scrypt coins already have, DOGE will get it sooner or later.
With multi pools stopped, DOGE value will raise.

Exactly this. By 2015 the price could be 1000 a coin because no new coins will be produced, the multipool miners are in control of the price now, meaning it will keep going on a downward trend until the block rewards are finally halved. This occurs around April sometime. |

gonna stop watching this for a while, I bought in @ 66, and while everyone says it'll go back up in a few months, we'll see. If not, I'm only out 1.23 BTC, but watching the price every 10 minutes is gonna drive me nuts |

how does it work? @dogecoin any plans to implement this? If you think that this would be good for DOGE you are greatly mistaken. Just try to think outside of box for once. If multipools drop DOGE, then indeed DOGE value per coin would rise a little, but only on short term. It will stabilize around same profitability as any other coin and will stay on that price rage for a very long time and will not benefit for DOGE in long term. Why? I will tell you why: Multipool brings a lot of additional hash power. There are several benefits on that: 1 .block reward will be halfed much sooner. 2. block reward halfed = price doubled - assuming that net hash will not drop. 3. more hash = lower price point = more coins on market = more people can afford to step in. = more popularity. Its all connected and all good for DOGE in long term view. |
