lol feel for those caught in this pnd cycle (happens like very 3yrs) for this turd coin...amazing coverage for crypto tho, both good and bad. elon is an ass tho for perpetuating this, as are all the tiktok/influencers online...fucking sucking ppl in. whomever backed this pump (ie BIG doge whales) with or without elon can fuck off as they screwed many. but such is the zero sum game. imagine buying this 0.05 cents usd...HALF a fucking cent for a year, say maybe 1c even, up to 5c. then pump and they are offloading to noobs worldwide at 0.10c all the way to 0.77c! fuuucked. elon gets on SNL and does his skit....BAM top is in, knew it'd dump from there. and such as it may....down we go since then lol. it's sub 20c now and will make its way back to 1c or less where it belongs. then well it's 'reload' time for whales and well maybe they pump it in a few yrs time again looool.. Elon Musk’s SpaceX wants to put up billboards in space paid for with DogecoinThe space travel company SpaceX, owned by eccentric billionaire Elon Musk, has plans to launch advertising pieces into space, with payments in the cryptocurrency Dogecoin (DOGE). According to an article by Tecnoblog, SpaceX has partnered with Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC) with the aim of launching a mission to the Moon in 2022, with payments also in cryptocurrency. The association’s ambitious plans also include the installation of “billboards” on satellites in Earth orbit, to be paid in DOGE. Vitalik Buterin initiated a Twitter discussion about the Ethereum blockchain and Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
He wrote that the Dogecoin blockchain should move to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus model.
The easiest way to do this is using the Ethereum code.
It is because those coins have a common specification, infinite total supply. Proof of stake is nothing new in cryptocurrency and many projects are survivors on the market because they are proof of work coins. I think a hybrid between proof of work and proof of stake is better. It reduce energy consumption but still bring some production costs to mine or stake new coins. It makes investors feel coins are more real assets and won't disappear in the air. |
