I correct my previous statement: there's 1500 new shibes on /r/dogecoin since yesterday, and we're first on the trending subreddits list!

Is there any way to see the numbers of posts/day ? Or to approximate them at least? I'm not a fan of reddit myself.

And still at 50 GH/s ! Not Bad!

if price doesn't spike a lot im pretty sure most people will stop mining and diff will come way down.
Thus keeping it in a good profitability range. It's win win for doge either way. Funny how I said this yesterday and it's come true. Diff down, back up on the profitability chart. WIN WIN for doge.

I don't know what planet you come from... but rapidly decreasing network security is a big LOSE. At this rate of hashrate decline, doge is going to be ripe for 51% attacks after another halving or two. Then you'll see someone's fancy new scrypt ASIC warehouse attack the coin like we saw with all the SHA clones that didn't move to merge mining. What happens after an attack like that? Value plummets. Based on dev/community choices, this is almost certainly the future of Doge. No amount of cute memes or advertising can save a blockchain with a fraction of the global hashrate while maintaining a decent market cap. And the idea that Doge could convert to PoS easily is rather laughable. Hard forks aren't easy to coordinate, specifically when you have a large community and many aren't particularly technical.

At about 60GH network power compared to about 78ish that isn't all that bad considering it would fluctuate between that even before halving. All the weak hands can sell and mine something else. DOGE UNTIL THE END/

DOGE UNTIL THE END/ +1 60Gh/s is great really. And Dogecoin also has an advantage: there are many persons who don't know much about cryptos who are mining doges with their GPU because, well, they simply like it, and it's easy for them to find out how to mine it. On /r/dogecoin, there's already a "Dogecoin Defence Force", where users pledge that they'll keep mining dogecoin even if it gets considerably less profitable than other coins, and group buys are coordinated, notably, for a hosted titan miner. However, with Dogecoin's potential to be the #2 crypto, I don't even think this is necessary.

Block 200,001 — 300,000: 0-250,000 DogeCoin Reward
Does this still apply? No, since 1.6 hardfork, reward is no longer random, but fixed.
