It needs to be known DOGE is just a crypto into BTC. Not just DOGE. 1DOGE does = 1DOGE, but 1DOGE=X btc and we need X to be greater than market price atm (or I would assume everyone who has a DOGE position wants this.)
People also love BTC because there is a cap. No one (unless they think they can make a quick buck now) wants to spend their capped coin on a uncapped coin. You can advertise this into the dirt, but it can not make it like this.
What cap? The one that will be reached in 2100? Or because people are realizing that the money keeps getting put in the wrong advertising campaigns. These races haven't done anything for the coin as far as I'm aware. You really need to focus more on things that will bring in more nerdy types; in general, the people that go to the races aren't people who even understand cryptos. Much less want to invest. Imho, this was not a bad choice of advertisement campaign; the absurd aspect of an über-geek concept sponsorising a "redneck" thing is what allowed us to have way more exposure than the 55000$ would have given us anywhere else. It's also great that it was something concrete - a car - rather than simply putting our logo on some billboard or whatever, this gives more credibility to cryptocurrencies' ability to have a real impact in the world and that they are not simply "magical internet money".

What cap? The one that will be reached in 2100? I want to have something to leave to my family. Maybe you don't think that far down the road, but I do and I don't think I'm alone. Lets do the math on how many DOGE will be around in 2100. (will edit)Edit: Around 500 billion which is five times more than the original post here on Bitcointalk that said 100 billion coin cap. (will edit with more math)

More than 500 billion doges will have been mined by then, so inflation will be less than 1% a year. Would you say that gold, with its inflation rate of about 2.5%, is a bad commodity because of this? And because it is mined since hundreds of years which means there is a huge amount of it everywhere in the world?

You can advertise this into the dirt, but it can not make it like this. I get what you mean on the BTC vs DOGE and caps, but at the end of the day, DOGE could get a huge following just by catering to the right people. If I want to run a high-end nail salon, I wouldn't go to the projects to market it. I would go to the higher end neighborhoods. If I wanted to sell Ferraris and Lamborghinis, I wouldn't be marketing to the poor areas; I would market towards those who can afford them. You have to know your market. For whatever reason, DOGE's marketers are ignoring every business principal and are just throwing money at random places in the hopes that maybe someone will like it.

DOGE brings fun and darkcoin brings darkness, so (if you must insist on sharing your 'darkest' thoughts) who is really "hurting the world?" ps. Doggie isn't king Bitcoin is still the top dog. pps. How soon will Darkcar be racing on TV?

Does anyone know when Twitch.tv tipping is being implemented?
Sounds like we might be able to have a special event. Josh Wise plays iRacing, so it's definitely possible we could set up a Josh Wise vs. Dogecoin Community race and stream it on Twitch. It'd be great publicity for the Twitch.tv tip bot and it would be a really fun event.

Now this idea is a good one I think. It would cater more to gamers, right? I'm not too familiar with iRacing but that's what it seems like? If so, this is a great target audience.

If so, this is a great target audience. iRacing is an online only racing simulator. It's supposed to be one of the best, it's even used for training purposes by real race-car drivers. I've never played it myself.

This news is pretty interesting. Seeing DOGE embrace the flood of ASICs is big news indeed. I was under the impression changes would be made to make it ASIC-resistant.
