Doge is dead.
Volume in circulation is way too big considering the lowest denomination of the bitcoin that is the satoshi.
Volume is so huge it will hit 1 satoshi in no time if there is a panic sell.

One could argue that panic selling has been going on for quite some time now And our trade volume is awesome; we're the fourth most traded coin, and we managed not to crash to ridiculous levels. Really, traders like that liquiditiy.

and really who mine doge now? exept multi pools? becasue of block halving and its right on next halving coin will be dead correct me if im wrong
All the people who care about Dogecoin? And the thousands of noobs with GPU who simply want to have doges without the trouble of passing through other cryptos? IIRC, the DogecoinDefenceForce was contributing about 2 gh/s alone to Dogecoin, dedicated to do it even if it gets unprofitable. http://www.reddit.com/r/DogecoinDefenseForce/

Actually, the current version is 1.7, but I'm not sure if there's much difference (although it is indeed more beautiful!)

Really, traders like that liquiditiy. Yeah, and because of that big volume in circulation panic selling is going on a little longer than with other cryptos. It remains to be seen how low will it go, but doge will not die, because if doge dies the result for crypto world would be much worse than anything we witnessed so far (SR, mtgox, china). I believe in doge :-)

So you're saying that all the Dogecoins should be worth less than 500000 dollars?

Doge used to be the "thing". Well every "thing" passes. It might be Doges time. The problem now is how to back-off with least damage to my resources.

What's special about Dogecoin is its community, which is way more important than having a brand new technology, for the long-term success of a currency. This coin is not dead. But is dying, slowly dying. Doesnt have anything special...people goes to other better cryptos
Dogecoin need to change for survive...special change! No. It needs to keep being Dogecoin, with all the positive aspects that this imply. No need to adopt a flashy algorithm.

No need to adopt a flashy algorithm. its special and also not very lucrative! most of a coin's value is its growth potential, and the majority of growth potential comes from having a finite resource. Doge is not a finite resource, even if this won't be noticeable for a few years, the market decision is based on its perpetual inflation which means it will lose value just like every fiat currency people don't want that. people never wanted that.

Imho, for the next 20 years cryptocurrencies will grow at a much faster rate than 5% per year, which means that their price will go up even if supply keeps increasing. After that 20 years, the 5 billion inflation will correspond only to 2.5% yearly inflation, which is quite similar to gold's inflation rate, which still manages to be a good store of value.

One of the most interesting parts of the 5 billion coin inflation is that, while the number of coins being mined will stay the same, the amount of resources it will take to mine them will change. I think it'll be fascinating to watch.

DOGE is seriously fun, when you forget about the fun then it has less value. Every time the price went down before, it always went back up over 100/200 and it will again. Don't worry, be happy.
