and you talk like adding another asics to farm doge is a good thing. Let's see what happens when the devs sells the doge you raised to USD to actually use that money. The way i see it, giving these devs bitcoins directly would have been better for the market prices. And you act like preventing a network attack is a top priority that you need to worry about right now, instead of dealing with the elephant in the room.

1500$ is barely a dent in our 1 million $ daily market volume. It is a priority, the fear of a network attack in the near future is the main reason dogecoin's price is low at the moment. And the Asic will put doges in the hands of important members of our community, rather than multipools. There litteraly is no downside to that plan.
I'm not sure whether you are supporting my statement or trying to refute yourself. You talk like $1500 is a big deal to prevent an attack, yet you just admitted $1500 is barely a dent. And you really think *fear of a network attack* is the reason doge is low? Of all the reasons doge is falling, you think *fear of a network attack* is the main reason? And no matter how many asics you put in the dev's hands, if they need the money, they have to exchange doge for USD, and in the process, what do you think will happen to doge price? Looking at the order book on cryptsy; once we pass 73 sat, there's barely any resistance until 92, and supports seems to be building strongly around 60. Eager to see how this will go.
You really don't know how the market works do you? You think your *resistance* are all on the order book? Funny guy. We have a winner for 'Troll without a clue' award. Haha, you guys got so much clue, who just lost 40% of their doge value in the last 2 weeks while trying to pump each other up on this forum? Denial is a powerful thing. I have to give you guys that. yes, please give me free doge, I'll sell them immediately and send you back the BTC, because I don't want to see you guys lose money anymore. And how am I trying to troll? If ANY kind of criticism on doge is trolling to you guys, then I guess i am a troll. But i'm trying to tell you how the market works. You want to keep living in your fantasy world, aka your parents' basement with all your doge posters and doge figurines, go right ahead. Ignorance is bliss apparently.

But, those cards are marked up 20% to begin with? A $25 steam wallet code on pock.io has a 0% markup, eGifter has no markup also but you get triple reward points for buying with dogecoin though. edit: Oh, prices changed, interesting. Now it's a good deal.

It does feel like the bottom is set now, but it's too early to know for certain. I did buy some under 60, but more at higher prices; Waiting for the bottom is hard, let's hope for a strong up move soon.

Now it's a good deal. No if you buy a $100 Us Amazon or Newegg (I don't use steam so unsure) then it will cost you $82. IOW you can convert from BTC to Amazon and Newegg without a fee and get the 18% as a bonus and it will go up 1% a day for now! THERE is no better deal out there, Period. There is a cap so once It's sold out that day it will not be restocked until the next day.

Xmas. Well that and all the initial dogecoin should be close to being totally mined out. Excluding the damn inflation that is.

Now I'm curious... have any of you successfully done it, and if so, which discount was actually given?

Looks like the market is changing its mind about Dogecoin! Congratulations to all holders and those who bought below 60 In other news: Operation Fire and Forget is fully funder: an extra 13 mh/s will protect the network 24/7 and its profits will go to the devs! Making the doge network about 1500$ more expensive to attack. I bought a lot from 55-57 I knew that bottom was near and there was not much to risk with. And i did tell you guys, that DOGE will go back up on longer term. Perhaps you will get another chance to buy, but i doubt if you will. Current price is actually not that high as well. So its still time to buy if you intend to hold longer than few days.

So its still time to buy if you intend to hold longer than few days. I missed the 50's, but picked up a few more at 64. I don't really care if it runs down to the 40's again in the short term. I have a feeling it'll set around 200-250 once the halving ends and it's on inflationary mode. That's my opinion and I put my money on what I believe. If I end up being wrong, I'll accept it and have no regrets. I believe Doge will survive long term. We have the greatest altcoin community around. My humble opinion and I enjoy everyone else that comments.
