I hope that most of the foreign users know what is a Russian coin behind which the Russian administrator of the Garrett forum.bits.media It has almost the same legend as Baltazar for Novacoin. Who knows, maybe it is one and the same person or close friends

Hi rowenta01,

It depends on the age of your staked coins. Minimum stake age is 30 days. The longer you hold the coins, the more likely they are to stake.

Also if you do not plan to move your Emercoin from the wallet for a while, some people like to combine all their coins in to a single tx by sending all coins to one of your addresses. That way you are staking from one lump sum. This would mean less PoS payouts, but higher payouts which will average out over time anyway.

There are positive developments almost every week (Just yesterday a wallet for iOS was released!) so not sure what is going on with the price. Alts price exploded in a big way a few months ago and it's been a roller-coaster for many alts since then. The price movements of Peercoin, Namecoin and Emercoin have all been similar. I noticed some price speculation going on at https://steemit.com/emercoin/@maarnio/crypto-contest-october-8-emercoin

I guess this is the biggest step for current year.

And how much will it cost if btc price dropped to 1500 usd ?

I don't have a price prediction, but it would be good to see the devs publish an updated roadmap soon.

However, there are already many excellent Emercoin technologies that exist and are there ready for people to build new services and features on them.

Undoubtedly there's new announcements coming up, but what Emercoin needs is for the community to step up and build on the platform rather than just asking when the price is going to go up.

Predicting the price is impossible. The only negative we face is a lack of community involvement. At this time development is continuing to push forward at the same pace it always has. As @mcoin mentioned the price/market movement of EMC, PPC, and NMC seem to be closely correlated and almost always follow the same buy and sell patterns.

Currently the team is focusing internally on development and larger partnerships instead of constant micro news updates which the community does not seem to react to or care for to the degree they should. Emercoin is significantly undervalued compared to competing blockchains when the tech we already have available is leaps and bounds ahead of other blockchains. Some chains claim to produce new tech (such as serialization on the blockchain) while this is something that could be done with the Emer blockchain for a long time already.

As a team member it is generally frowned upon to make a statement like this - but it's the perfect time to buy. I am personally increasing my holdings while the price is where it is. When our large updates are produced and news is shared the utility of the Emercoin blockchain will be recognized more than ever before. As to what you do with your Emercoin, that is your decision alone to make.
