Hashing at 165Gh/s, Running 2x 750W PSU 1 per blade.

Any ideas ?

why 2 PSUs per blade ?

Only way I can seem to get them to run properly, hopefully I can use the server PSU once I get a link to the cables

Cheers

Are you talking about the cables from the dell sever PSU to the blades? I have been looking for those same cables..

Also need cables for the Dell Server PSU.  But can't we just use wire if we have to?

Tracking no is not available immediately. Your shipment shall be on its way to you already. At least that is how it was for me.

I was in the first shipment and received the miners quick (4 days) without a tracking number.  Sign up for the My UPS and you'll get notified of shipments to your house (it's free).

So I guess today being the 16'th that means that units will start shipping out, no?

waiting for tracking numbers here  Cheesy

Right, me too. So I guess they don't update the first post orders list until they get tracking numbers? Or is it that they change the status to SHIPPED as soon as they ship it. Either way I see your orders are 100 and 101 and I'm 181-183, so our orders should be in the 208 that were shipped recently.

Units 1 and 2 finally arrived tonight.  They got stuck over the weekend in customs for an extra 3-day delay.

Both are up and running now at 180 GHash on the Eligius pool.  Very nice.

Only one idiosyncrasy so far.  When I changed the first unit's IP from 192.168.2.xxx to 192.168.1.xxx, I hit "Save and Apply" and the unit made the changes and "disappeared" as expected since it went to looking for another IP to respond to.  Then hooked it up to the switch/gateway at 192.168.1.1 and it was off the the races.

On unit two, I followed the same pattern of changing the IP from the local connection to the switch/gateway and when I hit "Save and Apply" it came back and stayed on 192.168.2 instead of switching to 192.168.1.    Kept trying and got nothing.   After about 10 minutes of scratching my head, I tried powering down and powering up this second miner.  That did it.  It came back up on 192.168.1.xxx and it was off to the races on unit #2.  For some reason, "Save and Apply" must have only done a "Save" on unit #2.  The "Apply" portion of the function was not working.

Did catch one card going quiet on unit two, all "xxxx xxxx xxxx..." on the asics, but a restart got it back going.

Looking good now.

Thanks Sushi for the Group Buy and some excellent setup notes.

Unit 3 was a later order and is on the way.  Power supply and ethernet cable are in place and waiting

I wanted to ask it for a while, byt why are antminers configured to static and nobody configures them to dynamic ip (aka dhcp), if you have a lot of different miners, it's much faster and easier to configure them via your router (pfsense running in kvm on my side).

No, bitcoin is not banned. AFAIK a trading exchange tried to register a company and were denied and the Bank of thailand claimed bitcoin is illegal.

The BoT has no authority to make anything illegal.

2 units arrived.
while driving to UPS office I've been planning how I'll cut wires of my 2 brand new PSUs, as pci-e extenders had not arrived yet. But in the box was a nice bonus: already installed pci-e connectors!

there were a lot of bonus thermal paste all over the device Smiley

Too much thermalpaste is not a good thing. If the miner runs too hot you/us may have to re-paste it.

On a different note, what do you guys think of adding a second fan to the miners? I'm guessing the main fan is one of those crazy 150 cfm server fans so adding an slightly weaker fan to help it out a bit should be OK.

The fan is very quiet as it runs on ~2000 RPM for me, while radiator further from fan heats a lot. 2nd FAN is definitely must have, although I still don't know how to change fan speed settings to speed it up.

I own one from the first group buy and add two more fans (pinned to second blade) now I use 3 fans (one in the middle - stock) second two - one on side of each blade. 200 GHs - 42 - 43 Celsius degree. works perfect

The fan is PWM controlled, so the only way to change the fan speed would be from within the miner's firmware/web interface via cgminer arguments. The default fan profiles are probably fine, but I'd still like to have a second fan to help out the first one. In the summer ramping up the fan speed will be a must - at least for me as I'm not hosting the miners in a damn freezer as some of you seem to be doing Smiley

On a different note, I got tracking confirmation #'s so I'm Smiley Also it seems they shipped pretty much the entire order list as two of my orders where near the end of the line (250+) and the tracking info page shows a total that includes even these more recent orders.

Way the go sushi and the antminer team Smiley You guys rock!
